Scandinavian Airlines A330 Business Class offers an amazing Business Class cabin! The flight was originally supposed to be between Copenhagen (CPH) and Chicago (ORD).
Join me on this Trip Report with Scandinavian Arilines (SAS) A330 Business Class. This flight video also covers Copenhagen airport, also named Kastrup Airport. The flight between Denmark and USA was a difference experience. The seat and cabin was amazing. The food and IFE was also pretty good! But this turned out to be a long flight.
I started my experience at Terminal 3, at Copenhagen Kastrup International Airport. After check in I continued to the Scandinavian Airlines Gold Lounge where I had some Cava. No real Champagne is offered in the SAS lounge.
The SAS Business Class on board the A330 gives a lot of privacy and offers a great seat. During the flight I had tasty Charles Heidsieck Champagne.
SAS overall food and drinks sortiment is great!

Maten har inte helt återgått till pre Covid, men i början av sommaren återgick man till mer normal servering. Jag håller med dig om att man inte är helt uppe i normal standard. Maten var god på denna flight men som du nämner lämnade presentationen av framförallt huvudrätten en del att önska.
Personalen gjorde upplevelsen bra totalt, och nu ser vi fram emot att även maten når upp till samma nivå.

A great informative video. 18 out of 25 is a very respectable score. And getting the scenic route into ORD is pretty cool too. A divert and extra 2.5 flight is much more bearable with a comfy business class seat. Thanks for sharing.
Totally agree. Problem was that I had a red eye to catch next morning, and the delay made my hotel night a bit short. 😄
thank you for that report. I think this is an average meal service. And I saw that they do not offer a choice of open faced sandwiches. I do not like seafood.....
Remember when SAS offered their "Royal Viking" First class cabin. That was so outstanding

Hi! I often do, which you can see if you check out other videos. But since this is a SAS flight out of CPH, and I have reviewed a couple of other plane types with SAS business, including the SAS lounge, I chose not to this time. But appreciate your input and will think of it next time. 🙏🏻
I grew up in Illinois, didn’t realize Rockford had an airport large enough for a A330. How long were you there?
The stop was about 1,5-2 hours. I was also surprised when all widebodies landed. 😄

Agree! Normally I would love it. But in this case it meant only 3 hours sleep on my airport hotel since I had an early morning flight to Dallas. 😅
Scandinavian airlines is not my favorite airlines (my favorite airlines is lufthansa)but il like SAS,just the seat of SAS is not very good.

We flew this route in May 2022 and the service and cleanliness of the aircraft was no where near as presented here. SAS used to have sensational service and services, but it has deteriorated significantly and we will no longer use them. A definite poor experience for us.
