An electronics hobbyist can build such a glove provided that they have the researcher's data on the vibration force and timing. This DIY device most likely will not have a polished commercial look, but I do not see why it won't be as effective as the one used in the trials. People are desperate for this treatment. Please, open source the research data and let anyone experiment at home. Millions of people around the world would quickly pinpoint the exact settings for the optimal result. Thank you , Prof Tass!
Here is an arduino mimicking and illustrating with LEDs the sequence of stimulation they are using. It now appears unlikely that the button vibrators used in cell phones will work. They will stimulate too many neurons. But I am now looking for piezo electric devices (read mini microphones) that produce tones of 250 hz. The 660 milliseconds is easy but his statement about a total of 1.5 hertz of stimulation is currently stumping me.
I have reached out to the team at Stanford. They responded with a very blah blah blah answer as to getting into the clinical study and speeding up availability. The videos and the data are impressive. My wife has PD now 10 yrs. Praying good news soon !!!
The researcher's extraordinary approach to the insoluble problem of the treatment of Parkinson's disease can lead to a fundamental breakthrough in the treatment and innovative additions to the etiopathogenesis of the disease. Of greatest interest may be the possible modulation of dopamine levels; activation of neuroplasticity formation of neurites and synaptogenesis
I think the idea of them being available summer 2003 is erroneous. I've watched every single video featuring Dr. Tass and the gloves that I could find and scoured Stanford's site, and the web and found no information that corroborates availability in Summer 2023. In the Today show segment about the gloves that aired on Dec 13, 2022, the reporter commented on the availability saying, "They hope to have the gloves approved by the FDA, available for purchase in about two years." That would put availability in the end of 2024. According to Dr. Tass's statements on Twitter in Feb 2023, they will start several new studies this year.
Count me in for trying DIY. Ham radio operator here. I'm guessing piezo-transducers. Would need things like, frequency + amplitude of vibration, placement of vib-motors, coordination of vib among fingers (synchronous ? patterned ?).

Are there funding issues in regards to study expansion, increased cohort numbers etc … it’s always encouraging when a trial is stopped early because of overwhelming positive effects and good safety record…. If they can introduce mRNA vaccines at a record pace then surely if this is as groundbreaking as it seems , shouldn’t there be a push to expand studies etc As a GP, I have young and old affected patients whose lives could be transformed!
Intellinetix makes a vibrating arthritis glove thats worth trying. If a train had some positive impact on shaking relief, Intellinetix vibrating arthritis gloves are worth trying.
I didn't wait for gloves and bought small ball, roller and platform. Use all of them during the day a few times. Feel much stronger, more flexible, more energetic. Thank you for idea.
It appears there are no drawbacks so these need to be put out to patients immediately. Worst that would happen is nothing. As long as they don't wear them for too long which can overstimulate and make it worse

Please make it available at the earliest, many need it , can't you speed up the approval as it is non-invasive.

How do I get on the trial listing? Why wait for FDA approval? Help is needed now😮
Does the vibration glove approach with tactile response provide similar activity to the TENS nerve induced response

The FDA is going to make us wait forever, like they are with the CUE1, even if its not a drug.
isnt the CUE1 available?
Especially because it’s not a moneymaker for big Pharma
