I'm curious if you are familiar with travel nursing. I'm finding that some lenders seem to be confused by this concept. I work for an agency based on the west coast that sends me to work contracts at different hospitals. I can choose to work in just about any state. For example I live in NY and currently working in NC for the next 13 weeks. Once that contract is up I am oicking up a contract in CT. I tried explaining this to a lender and they didn't seem to understand the concept. They questioned of it was reliable employment and instited that I need to work in the state I plan to buy

There are a lot of builders right now who have standing inventory or homes that are within weeks of completion. There are also, usually, great incentives on these homes as well. Nope! The rate and qualification is always based on your credit score, amount of money down, and your ability to pay back the loan. You do not need to have a job but the bank does need to see that you have retirement fund, annuities, etc. to make the monthly payments, etc. Great question!
