Oh Naomi, she continues to impress me on so many levels. I loved shopping for Marc and seeing baby Neta smiling. And seeing the travel involved in getting to church is very inspiring. Looks like a small & sincere part of the body of Christ. I love the simplicity of worship. My kind of church. Ohhhhh the burger outing the kids had after Naomi’s recital was expensive compared to Indiana. Was that because of the location?
I took piano lessons for 10 years. Three times a year a recital was held, which all students participated. My father never came to any of them. My mother went to almost every one. I was also in the high school jazz band and orchestra, my father never went. My mother would go but after I started driving I took myself. Did I mention I was in the marching band? It never really bothered me, in fact, I preferred they didn’t come to my piano recitals. I got very anxious prior to playing, my mother gave me the impression she really didn’t want to be there. There were 5 children in our family. My musical talent was no where near that of these children and young people. Every family is different, I am amazed how both Marc and Amber support their children, perhaps we don’t see these moments on the videos. They give their children a loving and caring home.
Marc goes to most concerts and I went to some before the baby was born too. We are really proud of her and she knows how deeply we care about her performances. At this point part of that care is not bringing loud little ones to distract her.❤️
