You should siphon the solution off when you don’t want to disturb sediment. Rubber tube, thumb over one end, fill with water, stick end in solution, other end in empty container, take thumb off. Boom. Easy.
The problem was the sediment did not settle out of the sulfuric like it does with rinse water or even AR. I had to filter all of it to get what was floating.
I use kale wool to filter my sulfuric acid.
