I really enjoyed the tour. How Aberdeen has changed over the decades. This film will also be of great interest in the years and decades to come. Many thanks.
I found this intensely depressing. Aberdeen during the January sales, when nobody appears to be buying anything. The Bon Accord Centre has empty retail units and shops that are closing down; Union Square offers nothing that cannot be found elsewhere; the Trinity Centre died with Debenhams and Union Street is a desert. I lived in Aberdeen from 1950 to 1968. At that time it was bustling. The only thing that seems to remain is the plaintive crying of the seagulls.
The auld Aberdeen I knew and loved in the 1990’s is well and truly gone. Bon Accord centre and St Nicholas look awful now! Stale and barren! Great quality of video though!
Applying to a bunch of Uni's this year and all these walk tour videos are making me want to go to Aberdeen even more
Good luck with your applications ☺️

Thank you for your comment High Ten! Stay turned, it will be more videos of Aberdeen 😊
In a few decades there won't be Bon Accord and that. Better to archive them.
The Elegance shop at 4:11, it used to be an Our Price Video shop when I worked there in the early 90s.
These videos are so relaxing. I hope to visit Scotland someday. Greetings from Puerto Rico.
Thank you Joel, ☺️

@@Люда-з9и I left Aberdeen in 1968. The day I left school was the day i took the train south. There's no betrayal.
@@Люда-з9и It's the direction of everything else when you live in Aberdeen.
