Full size items!?….MULTIPLE in one box?!? Almost a FULL FACE?!?! This is what a makeup advent calendar should be! And shocker it didn’t have to cost $500-$1000 to be that good. They killed it! 👏👏👏😌💕
BUt if P Loise did stickers and hair ties and sheet masks - I bet we would be getting sets that would last all year with fun and detail...Gosh, I would love to see their take on stickers, it would prob be enough to cover every surface and have lights!
This is an advent calendar that a working makeup artist could buy for themself and not feel guilty. Great for using on a range of skintones for a range of looks.
@@pinktastic6159a range of all skin tones and also keep mind u.k. females are very much into that deep tan with y2k make up looks so if you know that style or old enough to remember then you know the make up style they brought back over there. I am fare skin and would use all these color's but it comes down to how heavy hand or light as a feather hand you are to be able to pull off these shades..

I was hesitant to keep everything for my makeup table but then I decided that I could probably make everything work mixing and matching what not. I would have preferred some more colors directed for the fair skinned, especially since the two little pallets are the exact colors as the large palette even if the names are different but overall I feel I got great value
With that range of palettes and products, am looking forward to a mini-series of looks....maybe themed for events around christmas. I'm from the UK so am not totally familiar with how other countries celebrate the holidays but I would suggest. Christmas Eve party with friends, a nice practical all-day look (but a bit glittery) for family christmas day, a chill boxing day look - then of course all over sparkle and fun new years eve look!
If I were ever going to blow $300 on an advent calendar, this would be the brand I purchase from! The details are so adorable and the ahades are actually wearable!!
My guess for their thinking about putting most of the makeup products early in the calendar is that if you're opening this throughout December it gives you a lot of time to actually get maximum use of it over the holiday party season.
I had the same thought. I also thought those days 15 through 20 in December are when I'm tired, wondering why we do this to ourselves every year (the shopping, the constant events, the late night wrapping and baking sessions, the pressure to get everything done, that one last trip to the mall-ugh mall parking) and could use a little skin care and pampering. Then the excitement ramps back up those last few days!

In the roughly 5-6 years I've been watching Advent calendar unboxings, this is by far the best makeup Advent calendar I've seen from any brand. If I were one to wear makeup on a daily or even a several days a week basis I would so buy this calendar for myself.
Whoa - Safe to say the bar has been raised! My main thoughts throughout this whole video was that this calendar so accurately exposes the crazy mark ups in the cosmetic industry. Even with the higher price point, the sheer amount of quality items, coupled with high production value really highlights how shamelessly other brands rip off the consumer.
Seriously…the fact that it seems like no other company even CARES they just slip some garbage in without any thought at all. The amount of companies that are charging $50 or more for free samples is insane
P Louise started as a makeup academy, and still is. The products are geared towards professional makeup kits and versatility for a range of looks and tones without needing a bunch of different products. That’s why you tend to see bigger palettes offered. Which is always a treat for individual consumers!
P. Louise is setting a very high bar for all the other beauty advent calendars. This is the best advent calendar ive seen so far. The whole thing is adorable and great products.
Wow, just WOW! P. Louise has topped the advent calendar game! Not a sample size or mini squeezy tube in sight and the packaging?! OMG! The fact that you got that whole SET of brushes and PALETTES of eyeshadows, blushes and bronzers, WITH tools and product to go with it, not to mention 6 lip liners and so much more is just unheard of with these advent calendars. Kylie, Sephora or Ulta could NEVER!!! Bravo... Bravo!❤👏🎄
I LOVE how inclusive their colors are, especially for people of color. This really is a great advent calendar for a huge variety of skin tones. I'm so impressed that they gave so many different colors in so many palettes.

The packaging is SO cute, and the number of products is outstanding. The level of excitement you showed while opening each day is what other companies should aspire to deliver. Also, P Louise has one of the few advent calendars with 25 days, so you actually have something to open on Christmas Day.
I know you said others think the packaging is too much, but I LOVE it! Like you, I am a sucker for packaging and I love how absolutely cute everything is. There is sparkle and crowns...wow! @thelastnashie8811. That is insane, if I buy from ColorPop it only cost me about £14.00 with tax and customs inc.for a parcel about the size of 2 shoes boxes ( just ordered for christmas), to UK, so is it the charges at your end that cost so much, but not so much if buying from UK.. I wonder..

I like to think the “Advent Calendar Department” of P.Louis saw your videos last year and said “Challenge accepted!! There will be NO stickers!” And the packaging makes the product just feel more luxurious and special, more of a “treat” than “just” lipstick, ya know? So I’d actually buy this one!!! Keep the goodies then give the “house” to my daughter; she would LOVE it!!!! I’m SO sorry you hurt yourself!!!! At least it was for a good reason? Pizza is a good reason.

Now THAT is what an Advent calendar is supposed to be! Excitement, anticipation, enjoyment and the feeling that you are getting value! With the last day the star of the show (and 25 days too)! And it really was a great variety of the company’s products too (but you didn’t feel you were getting the left overs or products that they couldn’t sell, you felt you were getting wonderful items curated especially for you!). I have never heard of this company but if I got that Advent calendar, I would be a customer for life! Other companies should take notes!
Wow I am blown away by the P. Louise advent calendar! A genuinely great value AND beautifully packaged. The fact that they matched the packaging of their products to the calendar is just so extra and I am living for it. This is a company that wanted to impress the recipients of the calendar.
This is how you do it! I would appreciate a more affordable version (maybe a $100 12 day?) but this was worth the price, unlike most advents these days.
Yes, the things inside were exclusive to this advent calendar and not sold seperately. And now the advent calendar is gone from the website and I wish I had grabbed it 😢
My cousin walked out the door to for opening day of buck season in her most stylish camo and yep, "hunting vest orange" eyeshadow with full eyelashes. She always gets made fun of by our hillbilly family, and she always gets the first deer. 😂
I ordered this advent calendar too. It's supposed to be full of exclusive & unreleased items that are in the advent calendar. This video gets me really excited because my calendar hasn't got here yet & i can't wait to open it. Hopefully it arrives soon 😀
Now THAT'S how you do an advent calendar! Great design on the calendar, full sized products (love the multiple items for 1 day, like the brushes & lip liners), good variety & you can definitely see the value. I'm impressed with P. Louise!
This might be the best one of this year. Items made specifically for the calender, all full size, almost all makeup. Impressive. Nice large items. Big item for the last day. They made an effort of sending different shades to be inclusive (a huge difficulty for advent calendars)
I'm already in love with this advent calendar just by the light-up castle box alone... and with all the wonderfully packaged and designed FULL-SIZE items?! It's honestly worth the $300+, especially given the price of P. Louise products. 💖
If you want a break from the advents you should do a full face with some of the things you got in this calendar! I want to see that first highlighter in action ☺️
I just got mine on yesterday and I'm in loveeeeeeee!!! My mom bought this for me for my birthday and I told her this was a birthday and Christmas gift wrapped in one. She was able to get it with Klarna because it was a hefty $363 total but with everything that comes with it....soooo worth it!!! Considering all full size products. Enjoy!!!
The thung i love about makeup is that if you get blush or highlighter shades(for example) that arent yiur shade match, you can use them for other things, like eyeshadow

The tones and shades that this calendar added really showed their efforts to cover all skin tones. I appreciate that. It’s not an easy process but it is something that takes care and effort and this company did it!!!

So for a hot minute I was thinking of getting this for my niece who's getting into makeup and would love the packaging. But it was just too expensive and finances are not great right now. But it was great to see all the products and the thought they put into it. As for the body glow stuff, they're probably thinking it can be used if you're going out for New Years and you want some sparkle.
I am 53 years old and I appreciate a pallet of eyeshadow that two years later I can still smell chocolate, I don’t know why but it brings me so much delight it’s ridiculous and frankly it makes me want to use that palette more even if it’s not my favorite. Could you imagine giving a 13 year old girl that’s starting out their make up collection something like this. If I was a grandmother of a teen this would be a top present for me to give.
I love that there are more full sized items. I do feel the giant palette makes the mini ones a bit redundant and wish it would have been more of a mix to cool and warm options, since winter is my a cool tone season

I would love to see a video where you review the products you actually use over time. Which products have you really loved and what products have you really not liked that you’ve kept after first impressions? Maybe even an empties video of the products you used up!
Despite it being too expensive for me, it does seem to have value and be the best advent calendar so far. It's really, really cute. There were also multiple items on some of the days. A whole SET of brushes. Lip duos. A bunch of lip liners... on top of full sized products. $13 per day, but not $13 per item.
I love watching your excitement with this calendar. This is the JOY of the advent calendar. You have spent so much time and energy on these calendars over the years. I ship to family overseas and friends in Canada. The shipping is crazy expensive. I paid $56 for a lot lighter package. So I'm impressed they got it over the pond that cheaply. The advent calendar is probably the best I've seen product wise. Add in the cute themed packaging❤❤❤adorable. The gingerbread house and train would become part of my Christmas decor😅 great box. I hope your tongue heals soon.
This was an awesome advent calendar! If it applies anything like the Dior Backstage Rosy Glow blush that kicked off the bubble gum pink blush trend that duo from Day 24 will be gorgeous on you. The color looks super intense in the pan, but when you apply it it just gives the most beautiful winter cheek like appearance.
I think one of the best things about this calendar is that even if you don't like the items, everything was so fun to open. All the boxes were so pretty to see and I can imagine they look even cuter in person. For this calendar, minus day 24 &25, I think you could open the boxes in a random order and feel like you were always getting a treat. Can't wait to see what comes next.
I guess I’m feeling feisty (or cranky from just waking up from a nap), because when you opened the shimmer cream and then didn’t try it I said (out loud) “Well at least swatch it if you’re going to open it!” LOL Absolutely love watching you open everything and it’s so nice to see you so excited about one for once! I bought the Anthropologie calendar and have been anxiously awaiting December 1st!

This is a beautiful advent calender, with beautiful colors. I feel like I couldn't wear about 75% or more of those shades. For me it has too many orange/brown colors that I don't wear. However, there are so many skin tones that these colors will look gorgeous on! I loved how excited you were about every day! ❤
that calendar was worth it... the packaging was sooo precious and the fact you did not get stickers or sample size or hair ties is just amazing ... yes you are paying more but I would rather pay more and get an amazing Calendar then paying half the price and ending up with crap ... will have to look into next yrs... P. Louise killed it🔥 as far as preferences go, I would've preferred the last palette to have more reds, greens, icy blues, crystal whites etc, more christmassy colors but honestly the best calendar I've seen this year! I can see why they completely sold out.
This advent calendar is way out of my price range, but it’s absolutely adorable, and way more worth it than any of the others so far. I actually don’t expect any other calendar will top this. I’ve never seen one that included so many palettes, so much makeup, and not even a single day that seemed to only be filler. There were no cheap baubles or stickers or anything! Lol. I love it. They outdid themselves, imo.
This Advent calendar from P. Louise definitely seems like a way nicer & better Advent calendar than the Sephora one...and than a lot of other ones too. This one is definitely my favorite of the Advent calendars.
Also, I just went and watched last year’s calendar, and can we take a moment to appreciate not only how consistently good this has been both years, but also the fact that they’re COMPLETELY different from each other. Different products, different colors, a whole new theme?! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 EVERY other brand should take note, give us something different to look forward to every year and people will want to buy it every year!
I bought the 10 day advent calendar from P.Louise and the postage was £2. It’s probably 1/3 of the size of the 25 day one so maybe that’s why postage was cheap! After watching this, I think I’ll get the 25 day one next year. This was great to watch 😊

Most of this makeup is EXTREMELY warm toned and reminds me of 2015 instagram makeup

I don’t buy advent calendars because they always disappoint. I would buy this one next year and I don’t even wear that much makeup! This is just so much fun, and exciting how could you not love it!

Now THAT is what an Advent calendar is supposed to be! Excitement, anticipation, enjoyment and the feeling that you are getting value! With the last day the star of the show (and 25 days too)! And it really was a great variety of the company’s products too (but you didn’t feel you were getting the left overs or products that they couldn’t sell, you felt you were getting wonderful items curated especially for you!). I have never heard of this company but if I got that Advent calendar, I would be a customer for life! Other companies should take notes!
Wow I am blown away by the P. Louise advent calendar! A genuinely great value AND beautifully packaged. The fact that they matched the packaging of their products to the calendar is just so extra and I am living for it. This is a company that wanted to impress the recipients of the calendar.
This is how you do it! I would appreciate a more affordable version (maybe a $100 12 day?) but this was worth the price, unlike most advents these days.

This might be the best one of this year. Items made specifically for the calender, all full size, almost all makeup. Impressive. Nice large items. Big item for the last day. They made an effort of sending different shades to be inclusive (a huge difficulty for advent calendars)
I'm already in love with this advent calendar just by the light-up castle box alone... and with all the wonderfully packaged and designed FULL-SIZE items?! It's honestly worth the $300+, especially given the price of P. Louise products. 💖
If you want a break from the advents you should do a full face with some of the things you got in this calendar! I want to see that first highlighter in action ☺️
I just got mine on yesterday and I'm in loveeeeeeee!!! My mom bought this for me for my birthday and I told her this was a birthday and Christmas gift wrapped in one. She was able to get it with Klarna because it was a hefty $363 total but with everything that comes with it....soooo worth it!!! Considering all full size products. Enjoy!!!
The thung i love about makeup is that if you get blush or highlighter shades(for example) that arent yiur shade match, you can use them for other things, like eyeshadow

So for a hot minute I was thinking of getting this for my niece who's getting into makeup and would love the packaging. But it was just too expensive and finances are not great right now. But it was great to see all the products and the thought they put into it. As for the body glow stuff, they're probably thinking it can be used if you're going out for New Years and you want some sparkle.
I am 53 years old and I appreciate a pallet of eyeshadow that two years later I can still smell chocolate, I don’t know why but it brings me so much delight it’s ridiculous and frankly it makes me want to use that palette more even if it’s not my favorite.
Could you imagine giving a 13 year old girl that’s starting out their make up collection something like this. If I was a grandmother of a teen this would be a top present for me to give.

I love that there are more full sized items. I do feel the giant palette makes the mini ones a bit redundant and wish it would have been more of a mix to cool and warm options, since winter is my a cool tone season

Despite it being too expensive for me, it does seem to have value and be the best advent calendar so far. It's really, really cute. There were also multiple items on some of the days. A whole SET of brushes. Lip duos. A bunch of lip liners... on top of full sized products. $13 per day, but not $13 per item.

I ship to family overseas and friends in Canada. The shipping is crazy expensive. I paid $56 for a lot lighter package. So I'm impressed they got it over the pond that cheaply. The advent calendar is probably the best I've seen product wise. Add in the cute themed packaging❤❤❤adorable. The gingerbread house and train would become part of my Christmas decor😅 great box. I hope your tongue heals soon.
This was an awesome advent calendar! If it applies anything like the Dior Backstage Rosy Glow blush that kicked off the bubble gum pink blush trend that duo from Day 24 will be gorgeous on you. The color looks super intense in the pan, but when you apply it it just gives the most beautiful winter cheek like appearance.
I think one of the best things about this calendar is that even if you don't like the items, everything was so fun to open. All the boxes were so pretty to see and I can imagine they look even cuter in person. For this calendar, minus day 24 &25, I think you could open the boxes in a random order and feel like you were always getting a treat. Can't wait to see what comes next.

This is a beautiful advent calender, with beautiful colors. I feel like I couldn't wear about 75% or more of those shades. For me it has too many orange/brown colors that I don't wear. However, there are so many skin tones that these colors will look gorgeous on! I loved how excited you were about every day! ❤
that calendar was worth it... the packaging was sooo precious and the fact you did not get stickers or sample size or hair ties is just amazing ... yes you are paying more but I would rather pay more and get an amazing Calendar then paying half the price and ending up with crap ... will have to look into next yrs... I would love to have something like this to open every Day counting down to Christmas !!!
P. Louise killed it🔥 as far as preferences go, I would've preferred the last palette to have more reds, greens, icy blues, crystal whites etc, more christmassy colors but honestly the best calendar I've seen this year! I can see why they completely sold out.
This advent calendar is way out of my price range, but it’s absolutely adorable, and way more worth it than any of the others so far. I actually don’t expect any other calendar will top this. I’ve never seen one that included so many palettes, so much makeup, and not even a single day that seemed to only be filler. There were no cheap baubles or stickers or anything! Lol. I love it. They outdid themselves, imo.

This Advent calendar from P. Louise definitely seems like a way nicer & better Advent calendar than the Sephora one...and than a lot of other ones too. This one is definitely my favorite of the Advent calendars.
Also, I just went and watched last year’s calendar, and can we take a moment to appreciate not only how consistently good this has been both years, but also the fact that they’re COMPLETELY different from each other. Different products, different colors, a whole new theme?! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 EVERY other brand should take note, give us something different to look forward to every year and people will want to buy it every year!

I bought the 10 day advent calendar from P.Louise and the postage was £2. It’s probably 1/3 of the size of the 25 day one so maybe that’s why postage was cheap! After watching this, I think I’ll get the 25 day one next year. This was great to watch 😊
