Don't think it wasn't used as a cattle prod or a fence electrifier.

Do Not loose original hardware. It is like, 1/4" x 26 threads and such. Just like a Justrite carbide lamp, it uses proprietary parts.

I may have missed it but what size is the replacement capacitor? I believe .47 mf but is it 400v or 600v

If you aren't going to use the original condenser, why not replace the whole thing with a modern electric high-voltage board?
