Thank you so much for sharing. It took 2 weeks to assemble two mini -med kits. 80% of needs. Unobtrusive. Gave one away. Yup one is none for knives and flashlight.
I don't want to live in a world where I can't carry a a butter knife to butter my toast. Glad to see one of your videos up. Hope all is well with you and the family!
Great video. I'm in the UK. The law on knives here can be hard to understand. A knife cannot be carried without good reason unless it's a non-locking folding knife with a 3 inch or less blade. So butter knife no, but I think the leatherman juice would be ok!
@@T3CHKN0 need to be careful with full sized multi-tools. I looked for over a year for a good quality full sized multi-tool to edc and couldn't find one that didn't lock. In the end I bought a leatherman wingman and removed the knife blade.
the Juices work and they are nice or try the SOG Paratool but that is a wierd one, but yes the Wingman is a classic and I have one in the bag at all times
I like to carry Swiss Army knives in UK (non-locking) although when hiking I carry a Swiss army knife with locking blade, (legal as I have a reason to carry). I would not carry the latter on the streets. I also travel & live in China a lot and there I get away with my Swiss Army Knives too, but only just. Following terrorist attacks in the station there are X-Ray scans and body scans and I have been stopped and then let go with these knives. Getting more difficult though.
in my edc wallet first aid kit I put a couple safety pins on the little tag that is sewn into the edge of the wallet, they lay flat when it's folded. I also have a fresnel lens in my main wallet that I use for my cards and my Wallet Ninja card tool
As always great video man! I like to carry a solid color bandana with me not only it goes to the application of grey man. But last time I had to use my bandana for playing hide n seek at my friends house and it was in country. What was good about me using the solid color bandanna was that the dirt, sand, and rock color served as a great camouflage to use with the solid color cloth. So using my application in cover, camouflage, and concealment really helped me to win the game although I didn't had any physical endurance to be slient and stealthy. Along with the patterned and natural clothing and utilizing my everyday carry saved me. But bandanna also had saved me the other day that here in New York. There were days that temperature will drop below 50 degrees Fahrenheit . It was cold.... But if I had not been carrying my bandana around and worn the wind breaker. I would've froze. But bandana served me as hasty scarf and some military enthusiast that I encountered with said " where can I get the solid color shemagh" but I said it was an bandana. And they were surprised in the fact that they didn't knew anything about the solid color bandana existed. Also you should look into this company called NxN or North by North. They have a merino wool shemagh and a bandana. I would like you to do an review next time if you have any chance to do it!
I was never to into types of band-aids either. I have since changed my tune after using Nexcare. They dont wear down in your wallet and they stay on insanely strong. Most times you have to cut it off. Also i have been using the spec ops wallet with the shark bite Closure. Lots of EDC room in it for things like that and also, Fresnel lens, Handcuff key, CC knife and other items that fit easily. Cool vid!
I was wondering how you have been, as it was a long time since the last video. I will add some of these items to my kit. I started wearing a belt pouch that can hold it all, but isn't quite a "fanny pack". I just cannot stand bulky items in my pockets. Its probably better for your back to not have large items under your butt so as to avoid shifting your spine out of whack.
Hey man! Yeah, I try to keep the wallet as thin as possible to not put my spine out of wack. I find that if I balance it with another similar size item in the opposite pocket that my back stays more aligned.
@@TheUrbanPrepper Although i like the concept, the bad thing about those zipper bags, is stuff gets smashed unlike in the altoid tin. Especially bad with the medical stuff as those items wear out even when not using them from friction and pressure. In a tin they have more room and won't get smashed so much. Also, I missed common stuff like some pain pills. It's what my colleagues always ask me for as I always carry them. In fact chances of getting a headache are bigger than getting cut and needing a band aid i.m.h.o.. Also my keychain now is one of those "key smart" key organizers. Boy they are one big game changer. Besides a SOG key knife I also carry a 16gb usb stick in it, a magnetic mini usb-c/micro-usb cord, my usb yubi-key 2FA key, and a small nitecore tube keychain light (or my mecarmy/fenix). Still don't understand why you have not switched to any of those key organizers as that keychain is just one noisy dangling mess 😁.
I have some items vacum sealed, including my EDC IFAK, a reflective vest, and some other things I don't expect to use too often. It reduces friction, and bulk (thanks Canadian Prepper)
URB: My wife found a small bag about the size of your mini's. But this one has a pocket clip and holds a Juice, aaa light, alox sak, and one speed strip. Perfect for a trip to store, and goes in my smallish backpack. Anyway, this is great idea!
I agree 💯 with you about “Health” being your number one prep item. I mean what good is an edc bag or get home bag if you can’t carry it for several miles walking. Thanks for providing the PDF file of your items.....I know it’s a time consuming task. 🤝
Thanks Herley. Yeah, it does take a fair amount of time to write, but it seems like most people really enjoy having those companion PDF's included with these type of videos. It also helps me stay organized with my videos.
If I may suggest, for an EDC watch, I go with the Citizens Eco Drive watches. You never have to wind or charge because the face of the watch is a solar cell that charges from both natural and artificial light. Some, like the one I have, connect to Bluetooth and notify you when you receive messages, emails, or calls with a vibration. Sure, you don't have the fit tracking interface, but - to me - it's not a nuisance to check that info on my phone. Google Fit sends me notifications when I reach my daily goals.
Hey Cliff - Welcome back! - I carry just about everything you have, but I use a Maxpedition micro-pocket organizer - works great! - Keep the vids coming!
I know you mentioned Vanquest, but Maxpedition makes a "coin purse" that is about the size (but more oval in shape) you are talking about. It's built like a tank (as you would expect) and I have used one for an EDC med kit and another to hold assorted EDC items.
Keep the great videos coming! One of the big reasons I have you in my top three favorite "Prepper" youtube content creators is your focus on the Urban instead of the Bushcraft side of prepping. Keep up the good work Cliff!
I agree on the Vanquest pouch. I have several organizers and many of them by Vanquest. They are all just too bulky for a pocket most of the time. I have often chosen an Altoids tin, but that's not my favorite either due to it being a hard metal case.
That's some excellent trigger discipline on your NES Zapper! For our international friends, I suggest carrying the AGE/Mattel Nintendo Power Glove for personal protection. I really enjoy the sleek design, and it's a great conversation piece (hello ladies)! However, you will need to find a copy of "Bad Street Brawler" to achieve full functionality for the unit.

How do you carry all this in a 5 pocket jeans? (I do not use the back pockets out of 2 reasons: 1. sitting is unconfortable and I sit a lot because we have public transport) 2. pocket thieves)
I've been using the module method for a couple of years now. I use 2 Maxpedition micro pocket organizers to carry my EDC items in. I highly recommend them. As long as you don't overstuff them, they travel well in your pants pockets. I carry in the first one; a AAA powered flashlight with spare battery, a Bic lighter, a Light my Fire fire steel, a boo book kit with Individual packs of Tylenol that I can hand out to others, a 6ft micro USB cable for my phone, and a pair of headphones for the phone. The second one is my mini trauma kit. It includes; A T-3 4 inch Israeli pressure bandage, Celox ribbon hemostatic gauze, an H&H compact wound seal kit (non vented chest seal), a pocket CPR mask, 2 inch wide by ? feet of med tape rolled flat on a gift card, and a pair of black nirtile gloves. This one is obviously stuffed and stands out a bit more, but it's still comfortable in the back pocket when sitting and walking. During work days, I carry a CAT Tourniquet in a belt holster that has a small pouch in the rear for shears and a sharpie. I also have on my keychain a RecueMe glass punch tool that you reviewed a while back and a SOG key knife that I found at Walmart. It looks like a key, but has a built-in mini knife.
You should check out pouches/zip wallets by companies like Waterfield Designs or Bellroy. They are not prepper specific, and they are more expensive, but they are great quality and have more built in organization. Plus great styles!
How long does butane seem to last in your zippo insert? I used to carry a regular zippo, but since I don't smoke anymore, having it run out of fuel before i need it is a deal breaker.
Maybe someday I'll hit a million. I need to be more regular with my video uploads. It's been very difficult to balance TH-cam with my normal daily life. Busy times!
I have to ask what you use the Cavilon for, as I only know it as a barrier for stoma patients, and I‘d be highly interested in an EDC application for these.
That is SO COOL! I am a Den Leader for by son's Cub Scout pack. It is a blast. I've been working on a dedicated Cub Scout EDC video. Hopefully coming soon!
It's my understanding that you can carry a pocket knife in the UK but it can't have a locking blade and I believe there is a length restriction. Other knives are legal for camping and hunting and what not, but in public, you can't be wearing them. For example, if you were heading out for a camping trip and you had a fixed blade knife inside your pack, it would be considered reasonable and allowed, but if you had your pack on with the knife on your belt when you step onto the bus or train it may cause you grief.
For the small pouch, I would suggest the recycled firefighter truckie . Would be great for your small tools. I have been carrying one for a long time and they are great quality.
One thing that I do that might help the longevity of your in-wallet bump and scrape first aid items; is to get a jewelry/small parts bag and cut off the seal to fit to my wallet, when I put the band-aids & such inside it makes them slightly more water resistant and the bag takes the bulk of the pocket wear without adding too much room. I've been using the same bag, and I'll generally use up the first aid before it degrades enough to replace.
great to see you back. Did you consider a SWAT-T tourniquet for your coin case? -- I guess that would tale up the whole case--- I'd loce to see how you have adjusted your EDC carry bag too !
Great, I'll have a look. My daily bag is the Rap-Dom 311 Tactical, which I use on Bus/Train commute to NYC from about 50 miles North. Over the past couple of years your videos, along with some others have helped me fine tune and tailor mine to what fits me. My thank you to you for your service of sorts to the prepper community!
Classic TUP!! Check out the yellow birch outfitters PocKit for a zippered pocket organizer much like your leather coin purse. Keep up the great work! Dig the streamlined approach!
Morning, Cliff. I was recently talking to someone about some very small edc kits due to my having watched ‘Dude, you’re screwed’ on Amazon Prime. The show shows how the special forces guys in the show hide small compact items on their body. It made me want to put together some very small kits that were not overly packed with large quantities, but enough quantity (ex: fire tinder) that would get me through a small incident. Then, I could keep these small quantities in my edc pack for when I wasn’t carrying them. I haven’t watched your video yet (I will after I send this comment), so I’m not sure if this video will be similar. But anyway, so excited to see that you posted. Thanks!
Wow, you read my mind. A couple months ago, I started looking for very small (3x5" or so) admin pouches, but I found none from the big guys (Maxpedition, Vanquest, etc.) I despise anything hanging from my belt, so I was hoping to put together something very similar for multi-tool, pen, paper, and light. I was surprised how hard it was to find a decent pouch. I might look at coin wallets.
I really hope that a company like Vanquest, Maxpedition, etc. comes out with a very small admin pouch for this purpose. I think it would be very handy for others. Thanks for watching!
I have been using LOKSAKs for some mini kits too. I haven't had any issues with degradation but will look out for that. I was planning on getting some colored duct tape to get the Prepper color coding on the LOKSAKs. Maybe something you can do with your coin purses.
I modified a few of the Zebra 701 to accept Fisher Space Pen ink cartridges. I forget the steps, there is a vid on YT (of course) that explains it. Basically, you get rid of a plastic "spacer" and then use a drill bit to enlarge the hole slightly. I literally drilled it by hand so it is not hard. You get a larger pen which is easier to write with, and the Zebra is stainless steel and could be used as a weapon if needed. I also use Rite in The Rain note pads, the ones you abandoned. The combo works great in all weather.
Whoa! A butane insert for a Zippo?! That's a lifechanger! (Assuming it doesn't have the problem of 1-second flames that refillable butane lighters often have.) I LOVE my Zippo but hate how often you have to refill it. Hmm, having a hard time finding the same one in the video that has a soft flame (good for pipes) instead of a jet...
Great to see you back Cliff and a great video. However, as has been said, in the uk you could happily carry both the knife and the Leatherman multi tool as they both fit in with our knife laws, i.e. both are non locking and have blades of less than three inches. I like the new streamlined edc system and think I will nick the idea of using a slim leather coin purse to keep my edc tools handy.
Phew! I'm glad that you are able to. I never know if my EDC videos are even applicable to viewers in the UK. I feel better now that this particular EDC is UK Friendly!
I can't imagine ever leaving the house without my potato peeler.
Me either. I should have listed it as a Core EDC item.
You to? I always keep that to myself cause I feel crazy. Salt to
Got a license for that mate? A man in England was charged for this....
I dont either but i cook for a living
Smart arse!
What I like is your EDC stuff looks like “in use” other than “showing”, thanks for the video.

Vanquest or someone should make a small pouch shaped like a pocket. Not square but curved where needed.

You've got your nerd bleep wired down tight, brother. I love it.!
LOL! Why thank you.
Wow only 121 k subs!? You should have a million by now. Great videos over the years.
Maybe someday I'll hit a million. I need to be more regular with my video uploads. It's been very difficult to balance TH-cam with my normal daily life. Busy times!
Awesome video as always. The wallet seems to not have held up as well, what are your views on that?
Glad you're back!
Me too!
I have to ask what you use the Cavilon for, as I only know it as a barrier for stoma patients, and I‘d be highly interested in an EDC application for these.
as always, great job and THANK YOU for the pdf, it helps to print out and bring to my Scouts to assist them in building their own small EDC :)
That is SO COOL! I am a Den Leader for by son's Cub Scout pack. It is a blast. I've been working on a dedicated Cub Scout EDC video. Hopefully coming soon!
Think about a Boy Scout one as well. I have pill bottles that we sometimes use to make mini-first aid kits...
I'll start brainstorming a Boy Scout one. Kid Prepper is currently a Bear Scout and earning his Whittling Chip.
Great tip! Thank you! I'll give it a shot.
great to see you back. Did you consider a SWAT-T tourniquet for your coin case? -- I guess that would tale up the whole case--- I'd loce to see how you have adjusted your EDC carry bag too !
I posted an updated EDC messenger bag a few months back. I have a SWAT-T in that EDC bag's iFAK. I think they're a great multi-purpose item!
Great, I'll have a look.
My daily bag is the Rap-Dom 311 Tactical, which I use on Bus/Train commute to NYC from about 50 miles North.
Over the past couple of years your videos, along with some others have helped me fine tune and tailor mine to what fits me.
My thank you to you for your service of sorts to the prepper community!
excellent video .......very practical
Would love to find an EDC office/writing bag TH-cam channel.
Classic TUP!!
Check out the yellow birch outfitters PocKit for a zippered pocket organizer much like your leather coin purse.
Keep up the great work! Dig the streamlined approach!
Thanks Kevin! I'll be sure to check out the Birch Outfitters PocKit!
Thanks!
Maxpedition micro or mini edc organizer for organization.
Great seeing you again Sir
Wow, you read my mind. A couple months ago, I started looking for very small (3x5" or so) admin pouches, but I found none from the big guys (Maxpedition, Vanquest, etc.) I despise anything hanging from my belt, so I was hoping to put together something very similar for multi-tool, pen, paper, and light. I was surprised how hard it was to find a decent pouch. I might look at coin wallets.
I really hope that a company like Vanquest, Maxpedition, etc. comes out with a very small admin pouch for this purpose. I think it would be very handy for others. Thanks for watching!
In the UK you can carry a sub 3 inch non locking folding knife - no fixed blades
I personally carry a Victorinox Alox farmer
Nice! I'm glad to hear that.
Good content too. I'm glad to see a new vid.
Thank you, Steve! Glad you enjoyed it.
American Red Cross has a very small CPR pocket mask, it would easily fit in your first aid module! Last one I picked up was under $5.00.
How long does the zippo last with one charge of fuel?
I have been using LOKSAKs for some mini kits too. I haven't had any issues with degradation but will look out for that. I was planning on getting some colored duct tape to get the Prepper color coding on the LOKSAKs. Maybe something you can do with your coin purses.
Good idea on the tape for the LOKSAK! I've been getting a lot of great recommendations on alternate coin purses that are tougher and colors coded.
I've gotten a lot of great info from you and your videos. Quite happy I was able to give back.
is that fort worth in the background of your logo?
We need more UrbanPrepper!
I agree! :)
Glad to see this video!
Glad to finally have it done, Joshua!
He's back!
Just seen this we are aloud 3 inch non locking blades I have the juice cs4 as one of my rotation lol we even have a ukpk delica from spiderco 🇬🇧👍
Hey ! Says the Canadian
Nice to see you again , again super dooper kit well tought of ,
Thanks a bunch, Patrice!
In the UK you can legally carry a blade up to 3ins long without any need for a valid reason.
