Jake and Ira - The Cabin In The Valley (Music video)

The cabin in the valley is an existing structure, located in Park Valley Saskatchewan. It was constructed by Jake Vaadeland in an effort to preserve heritage. The cabin is where Jake and Ira first learn to sing together, and so, became the birthplace of the original Jake and Ira sound. This recording is the title track of Jake and Ira’s 2020 album. In this music video, the song is accompanied by footage from a short film about the cabin that was created by Ira Amundson. It is a skit about the simple and peaceful cabin life that this song is based on.
