I love how the nut on the drop link just whizzed off. I've spent ages on those as they seize up and the nut behind rounds off then the ball joint just turns.

Thanks this was helpful! Small thing, (most likely dosent matter) but the strut bolts are in the opposite way to factory. The nut is facing the front on my car and in all other videos ive seen.
Heya. Im just throwing stuff on wall and see what sticks. I followed this tutorial and replaced my front shocks with KYB spring bearings and top hats. After couple of days of driving i noticed my driver side spring bearing began binding and eventually broke. The symptom to this is a springy sound and popping sound and the bearing is cearly not sitting correctly, like the bearing is crooked.. I replaced the top spring bearings and same issue began right away. Do you guys know what might have gone wrong? I double checked every step and i had springs installed all the way to their stoppers and the top hat notch is pointed towards the wheel. Every bolt is tightened as far as it goes. Issue is only present on driver side and installation was made identically on both sides.
@@autodocuk Yeah. I already contacted a company that does alignments. I gave them heads up that the driver side suspension setup seems to be a bit crooked, so ill just leave it to their hands. It could be alignment settings or some other part is f-ed. Thank you for quick answer.

Realised i overtightened the 2 strut bolts reading us specs i did 150nm not 106nm will redo them hopefully not stretched bolts
