Analog Tutorial does not do this video justice. I wish I had watched this before I began to get into hardware synths. This is a must watch for anyone beginning to learn about synths in general. The thoroughness and careful simplicity is the way teaching should be. Such a great job.

Glad I'm watching this series before forming any bad habits. Only been on the program for about two days now. I know quite a bit about sound and stuff from being in a band and doing dj'ing but I'm learning so much. Thanks so much for the video and I wish you the best
Thanks for explaining this so scientifically. I've seen a few synth tutorials where people tell you what a parameter does and how it affects the sound, but not deep diving into the actual mechanics of how it happens.
I agree. Part of mastering music and sound is knowing why things do what they do.
Thanks for the tutorial series, this has been incredibly helpful and I can't believe it's free. One thing: I think what you call the "duty cycle" is really just a "cycle" or "period," since the "duty cycle" is really the percentage of a signal being "on". I'm not an expert, but as far as I can tell, it's more a measure of the width of the pulses.
I always had a dream of making music - and you are slowly making that dream come true. Your material is easy to digest for someone
with a hint of ADHD like me. Keep doing what you're doing, Sadowick.
Here is the link for anyone wanting to follow along :D bitbucket.org/Mayae/signalizer/downloads/
thank you.

you are the best teacher, thank you
Really enjoying the course so far, thanks for providing this information!
For demonstrational purposes, perhaps you could have shown what happens when one disables the filter or the amp from the signal chain. Though, you might cover that in a later video.
Hi dear sadowick, thanks for you’re tuto 🙏🏻 and can you teach us darkpsy bassline with serum.☮️
yes please
Thanks for the physics lesson! Nice to have it all laid out clearly. Few people take the time to actually explain what is happening. Great lesson for the raw fundamentals.
Really informative thanks so much
your course are gold , thanks you
Thank you for zoom display, I can see what you are doing so much better now.. I hope you continue to use it.
Thanks
thank you soo much for all of your videos :)
Ugh dad you're so informative 😍
Hi! i am watching ur tutorials and enjoying them so much :)
Why don't i have an analog...is it because i have the intro version??
Yeah. same here. The intro version doesn not have analog :(
great work - please keep it up. your youtube is one of a select few that I go to when in need of inspiration, ideas, and how to knowledge. Many thanks. :-)
Is the fundamental frequency always the lowest one of the spectrum ?
might be a verry stupid question, but i have 10 standard, and analog is not showing up on here, i have a bunch of plug ins so im sure that the information crosses over, but any reason i dont have analog
yep, now it all make sense!
Is anyone currently having trouble installing the VST and being able to use it in Ableton 11? Possible solutions ?
This is such an amazing tut! Thanks Sadowick!
Hey 👋 .......... nice to again see you
Im finding that I don't have some of the instruments mentioned in these videos?, anyone able to help me out, I don't have any folders named Analog in my instruments?.
I'm having the same issue. If you find out please let me know!
thanks man you great! nice tutorial series/
was wondering why it sounds and looks so different for me in signalizer and then I noticed I had the Osc2 turned on (as it is by default)
Thanks man, this is invaluable information ! Eigth tutorial : Done (-: !
What’s that guys name?
is analog not in introduction?
Hey Sadowick such a great tutorial thanks learnt a lot! I haven't been able to install signalizer on my mac. I've downloaded the os file gone to preferences plugins found the folder in browse approved the use in security settings but it doesn't appear in the drop down menu in abelton after (not there). Any ideas how I can properly install it please?
Did you end up figuring this out?
I am having the same issue.
I think I got it to work by holding down option and clicking rescan in Ableton while also allowing OS X to open non-app store downloads in system preferences.
35:30 I think the duty cicle is actually what you call "pulse", the positive part of the rectangle wave. What you're calling "duty cicle" is the period, as in both positive and negative parts.
Just checked to see if anyone else made this comment. you're right. duty cycle is the fraction of the on time over the period. a perfect square wave has a 50% duty cycle, although Ableton calls this 100% duty cycle... so just divide by two to get to common usage.
anyone else totALLY UNABLE to get the vst to load into Ableton on Mac??? not sure what I'm doing wrong. :(
Thank you so much for all these tuts! Love them :D
very very interesting!
hey, is the pinned comment gone?
you're the homie
What are you using to draw?
Waw! Merci beaucoup Monsieur! Vous êtes un très bon prof!
29 min is similar to how old guitar pedals work, that are called Octave pedals. , omg i hate those things i had one when i was a kid, i was like k now wtf do i do with this. lol. best guitar pedals now are Afterneath by Earthqaker devices, and the other one they make called Dispatch Master
Thank for this!!!
Hey! First, thank you for the tutorials. Finally getting started on trying to learn my first DAW through you. I've been using the intro version for the last two days following along but I don't think that the intro version has analog? It doesn't have in the instruments tab. Is it completely necessary to learn? Will it be useful to know this info when I upgrade? Thanks in advance
Also there is no pinned comment :/
Hey does anyone know how to get analog because i only have the ableton live 9 standard edition
but the Ableton Suite
Hey I know you're the guy I'm trying to do a broadcast on TH-cam live with Ableton I have an m audio fast track pro audio card maybe you can help me out I don't know how to set it up using OBS or xsplit
Its tricky to setup. theres an ASIO plugin for OBS that will capture the audio from your host.
@@SadowickProduction thanks if there is a way for me to contact you about it if you have time because I have been at it for 3 days and still nada
25:39
You da man. :)
anybody had any problems to run the siganalyzer for OS X?
yes
Thanks for sharing. Your approach to educating others is spot on. I would call your videos fundamentals... Tutorial seems less worthy :). Looking forward to studying and applying.
Can you please teach us how to do a crunchy bass line, a dirty one. Something similar to Dj lion- Robosapiens
Don't see the pinned comment :(
@@mikeyburrows1696 Thank you!
@SadowickProduction I couldn't see the link either :( - Thanks to pooseTHEpuppet for flagging it
nice, but where is the pin comment ^^
love it but I just want to learn how to better use it in a beat, EDM, hiphop, lofi etc

VST 2 isn't necessarily backwards compatible, but all 64 bit plugins will be at least version 2. Also, your usage of the term "duty cycle" is um, non-standard when applied to a sine wave...
Shut up
Somebody buy me a suite version so I can use this knowledge legally
Lmao! If you want the cracked version, I can give you that.
