So for some reason I decided it'd be a good idea to do a watering video at night time.. (Something a lil different?) WELL WHAT A DISASTER THAT WAS!
I guess today's star is the Theraphosa apophysis (Pink Foot Goliath).

After that fell, my first thought was just turn the enclosure facing the wall and push it all the way up against it.
Ouch 🦶 🤕 I don’t know why I never even considered the possibility of a door falling off either! They were so sturdy for so long. Man, just when you trust things to work 🤦🏻♀️ Poor girl and poor EL’s foot!

I wanna be like you! I’m usually squeamish when it comes to critters and stuff, but tarantulas and snakes are a different story!
You can try going to staples and get clear storage bins (use soldering iron to make ventilation holes); I use the 64 litre size for my Theraphosas - they LOVE them; lots of space and depth.
Idk if it works on tarantula hair but masking tape or painter's tape works on getting the tiny fibers out my skin when I work with insulation.
I go straight for the duck tape. My skin doesn't like the duck tape, but it really really hates fiberglass insulation

Bro that’s gonna happen to every one of those hinges sooner or later. The adhesive used to attach them wasn’t intended to bear weight in that way.

With the first tarantula, the one you complained about always knocking over their dish, I think I saw its molted skin nearby! Saw it also with the second one!

To me, that seems like a faulty door or maybe even a defect. No other container you've ever had, has broken in such a way.
Also these containers are meant to be placed on shelves. If the door can't hold it's own weight, then the product is flawed.

I thought of that solution as well. I guess that the stress of the moment made him think really fast but not really well, it happens a lot.

You should use small dipping bowls for watering dishes. They're heavier and lower, and your tarantulas won't tip them over so easily. I'm sure they're not doing it on purpose. The plastic cups are so light weight and they just tip right over when the spider dries to get a drink. Must be frustrating for them!
I was gonna say to put a bunch of shrink wrap over the front or tape a plastic lid over it

I'm glad you got all your pets watered but I am so sorry the enclosure broke and she had to be hard headed to put into a temporary closure you take great care of your tarantulas they are all beautiful the blue ones are my favorite I also love rose hair tarantulas I used to play with my friends Rose hair tarantula she would crawl on me and I would hold her her name was Leslie she is very sweet

I'll start by saying that I don't know anything about keeping tarantulas; but I am amazed at how reluctant she was to bite. I was expecting her to threat pose or turn around and bite at the brush. She seems so gentle, is that a common trait with this particular type of tarantula?

You should put a row of hooks so that you can put your brush and tweezers etc all in one place so as not to look for them every day , just s suggestion ! 😄 😊

You have snake in your room up above light switch you can see it 7:18 too
if you slow and pause it looks like a ball python. I have no idea if they're native there but it also doesnt move a muscle so i wonder if its a decoration? But at the same time that looks like a horribly hard spot for a decoration to sit!
