Hickok VP pick 2024
I miss my M9.... never should have sold it... stupid hurricane Michael 😢.... guess that means I need to get a new berreta
I’d love to see Hickok do a beretta 92 X
I have the APX A1 full size, now I’m mad I couldn’t get this instead. I thought about getting the carry model but heard bad things about the trigger, so I went with the full size. Oh well😂
This gun currently has a $100 rebate from Beretta.
Be careful with Beretta rebates. They have huge swaths of serial numbers they won't honor the rebate on. You probably won't get it unless you pay near retail price. I got a Bobcat recently and they denied my rebate claim even though it was a supported model and said they'd send me info on how to remedy the situation, but never did. 🤷♂

That’s crazy.
It took about four months but I got the $100 rebate last year for the APX A1 FS.
And I quote: " We are unable to process your claim for the following reasons:
- Serial Number not valid for this offer
You will receive a letter in the mail that explains the steps required to resolve these issues"
This was a month and a half ago
I bought an APX A1 Carry from Cabela's and I never received the rebate from Beretta. They confirmed my entry, but then nothing... it has been 3 months.

You may still get it, it took me longer than that.
I love this guy
What I really want is a Colt 1911. There are just so many variations of Colt 1911's it is hard to decide which one to get. The basic government issue is nostalgic but the Colt Mark IV is very nice. I have the Ruger SR1911 and a S&W 1911E so I have a "fancy" 1911 which makes me lean toward the basic Colt 01911C. Oh, the choices.
Tisas night stalker
Springfield Armory TRP in brushed stainless steel...
Of equal, or better quality than the S&W E series...
He's done a couple 1911 vids even the last he would ever sell. Check out some of his oldee videos 😊
That old m1911 a1 he has is sweet
The original APX should have won the Army's M17 pistol contract. These pistols are built like tanks.
You guys are awesome. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽🎉🎉🎉
Got new my Beretta APX A1 Compact two weeks ago, very hard to handle and very stiff, The slide and all the buttons on the pistol are very hard to press or to move. Rounds are very hard to load to manually load in the magazine. It is that normal ?
Do they have a 45acp or 10mm in this model?
Another great video from the G.O.A.T. Mr. Hickok, would you please consider reviewing the Fightlite SCR? It’s a very interesting option for an AR alternative for those of us in the the ban states and I think many viewers like me would be interested to hear your thoughts. And even those in free states would probably have a lot to say in the comments 😅
can the gun lay on table, push down on gun that pushes button in(if long enuff) and then pull down on lever? Or lay a nickle under the button, to reach?
I ordered from silencercentral last April. Still waiting. Feels like it's been 2 years lol
the full size is a great shooter, dont care much for the smaller models, dont know whats wrong with this takedown, on my full size its very easy to push it
Yea,and to think when they 1st came out I could drive 15 minutes to Cabelas and get one for 219 $ VLA.
As a follower for years I love the great work and effort you put into this, we know you’re a Glock fan, but is it possible to do a review without a Glock reference?
amazing that struggle for disassembly, its easy!
Hey Hickok could you do a Taurus g3x review I need your opinion before buying it
If you had to choose between the APX A1 and a Taurus G3 which one would you take?
APX no contest
Should have done their Carry version mini-compact... Really small!

I just purchased this pistol yesterday. The mag loader that came with this pistol isn't very good. What mag loader did you use for this video. I enjoy your videos immensely. Look forward to your response.
Great vid, got an unrelated question. have you thought about making maybe a psa ar build series / build series. ive been wanting to get into the AR 15 game for a bit and realized psas complete upper and lower run you 300-400$ which is pretty good considering the lower comes with magpul stuff on it. Would be interesting to see it with other brands upper / lowers mixing.
Compare this to the Sig 320C. No comparison.I had a APX A1 full size. So difficult on basic maintenance. The MFC, ouch real difficult. The grip straps, pain in the butt. My factory sights, blacked out rear and tritium front, sucked. Way low right target and hard to aquire. The compact APX A1 looks better for a fit but overall I say no. 320C with a few tweaks is amazing.
I like it 👌
Talk to us about Ballistol. I use it for many things, but recent articles say to not use it in the inner workings of the firearm.
What say you?
Well, I've been using it "in the inner workings" of my firearms for about a quarter of a century. Works great for me. :-)
you're the best 😊😊
Kentucky doesn’t have leaves on the trees right now, what kind of fertilizer are you using down there?
Gunpowder, rich in nitrogen 😅
Freedom seeds!
Hi Hickock, please review the new Sig Rattler LT and the Q Honeybadger. Thank you.
Seems like a nice weapon, but it is the thickest 9mm pistol I have ever seen! So, I would have fun shooting at the range but I wouldn't carry this. Might as well just get the fullsize!
How did you help protect your shoulder after surgery when you were released to go to range?
Can a two year old Beretta APX A1 compact safely use +P ammo
Just picked up one at palmetto state armory...$249 with $50 rebate
Gut,yes.
If you hear gunfire and you live in the woods, you give in a good place.
If you hear gunfire and you live in the city, you live in the wrong place
Get my man working out those rear delts
I like the pistol but I'm disappointed in Beretta customer service. After 3 months of waiting for my rebate, I called to find they said it was rejected for no particular reason. Now they say it will be another 12 weeks before I receive it.
The field strip alone is a deal breaker.
Just put on a flat surface and take down the level, super easy
Does it have a manual safety
