Aside from being extremely talented, this dude is a regal and classy guy. Angela is gorgeous and classy and graceful, they’re such an amazing couple, they make me so proud. And he reminds me of my dad that passed from Alzheimer’s. Especially when he mentioned his love and support for his kids, he and Angela I know, have provided a beautiful loving home for their kids like my parents did for me. Man I wish him, Angela and their family many blessings.
People don’t understand that only God can fulfill the spaces in our lives to help us be complete and whole spiritually and physically… with God all things are possible!
The Bible has so much power for living. Cover to cover as many times as possible will get us through.

Thank you Mr. Vance for your testimony. It takes God to keep a marriage healthy and together. Many marriages fail because God is not at the center. The Bible says a part from God we can't do anything (John 15:5). We should not enter nor dwell in a marriage without God because we can't do it by ourselves (lean not unto your own understanding...). Our flesh is foolish and not strong enough to withstand the wiles and attacks of the devil. Because marriage is God ordained, and the devil hates anything of God, he vigorously attacks marriage. Without God's guidance and direction, the devil will succeed in breaking up a marriage or causing it to be a miserable situation.
Married couples succeed when God is first as head, center of the marriage

Don’t leave out the part where he said, they both do for each other; she also asks him what she can do for him. It is not a one man show. A lot of women these days say they want good men but they are also saying they are not doing anything for no man. They aint cooking or cleaning no house because that is slavery. All I hear women talking about is how much money they want a man to make.

This is my favorite episode so far. We need more Black men like Courtney. Black men are afraid to show vulnerability and to talk about mental health let alone seek it. Sherri brought up a good point about people being made to feel that they're not believing enough in God when dealing with mental health issues and Black people say that a lot.

Courtney Vance is a lucky man to have Angela Bassett as his wife, soulmate and best friend. One of my favorite Black Love Couple.
Although I still think Cuba Gooding Jr. should have won that Emmy for playing OJ, I can't help but point out that Courtney B. Vance was also excellent as Johnnie Cochran, and I also want to point out that Vance seems like somebody who comes off as honest and never lets an ego get in the way.
