People truly forget that Tracie, Shanice, and Stacey Lattisaw were some of the first R&B teen queens! Aaliyah, Brandy, and Monica were the last because to this day, no one did or does it like any of these incredibly talented women did.
I would love a documentary about how women in R&B evolved from the beginnings in the 20s-60s and up to the 70s-90s. It can stop after that time period because music now is complete sh*t smh 🤦♂️

NO FRIGGIN WAY!!! Tracie Spencer is BACK!!! I first discovered Tracie back in the summer of 1999 with "It's All About You (Not About Me)" and I thought this girl is awesome!!! I had no idea she had been around since 1988 and had some huge hits like "Tender Kisses" and "This House". What a privilege and an honor it is to see her back and I hope she has a great new comeback in music.

The way I had Tracee and Shanice's music IN FULL ROTATION in my college days! I was a baby when they first came out but would hear their songs on tv shows like Family Matters in the 90s. In 2006 when I started college I re explored their albums and found some gems that stuck with me ever sense 😊 They were part of that group that paved the way for young teens in R&B
When I tell you that I had the biggest smile on my face watching this, then tears, then a big proud smile again. So good to see my two favorite artists of my teenage and adult life (now). I have followed their journey since they reconnected at the mall, the jam session with El Debarge and Darius McCrary, now on the Sherri Shephard show!! Thank you Sherri for highlighting them. What also makes them great alongside their amazing talent is the pure, sweet, and humble spirits of these two beautiful ladies!!
