    Looks nice. Not sure what goes into a new rear end.
    But, if Andrew Camarata has it, I wouldn't have any problem owning it.
    Good luck with your decision.

    Yes those engines are very good. They are well balanced and they run well and will go for a long time. I have a Brazilian Cummins in line in a B 600 that runs very well. They do sound awesome as well you were right about that they sound like they are the shit

    the engine is good,if you have problems, later on with finding parts,you can always drop in a good Cummins motor.👌👍😀

    We bought the L series 9000 6 speed trans 55 mph tops but it is stout no downshifting for hills it just plows on 10 ton in or behind it

      It had seemingly endless power when I drove it. It was a powerhouse that should get more attention in my opinion vs cummins vs dt466.

    I know I'm late, but don't get one. These Ford Brazil Straight 6's are awesome, very reliable for their time, while a bit underpowerd, they can make more when you turn em up, but that's their only positive qualities. Aside from being down on power, their actual problem it's impossible to get parts for them, and if you get one, you might as well buy another engine to use for spare parts. Again they're reliable engines, but any engine 40+ years old is not gonna survive during your time of ownership problem free.

      I'm leaning toward a brand new Ford F650 7.3 gasser at this point.

      That 7.3 is anything but quiet when it’s actually working, it screams it’s head off to compete

    It sounds good its been many yrs since I've dealt with those Ford engines we had some I think those were 365 cid don't know how that converts to litres those came from England though and those had liners so you could've rebuild them to like new condition those were very reliable engines if it's the same like the one I mentioned I'd get it

    • @garymathews4042
      @garymathews4042 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      the engine could be a 6.6 (401 ci ) or a 7.8 (474 ci ) .it has to be a 1988 ford ,they did not offer this engine after the mid-90s

      The Ford trucks that came from England where I lived from the late 60s to late 70s had excellent brakes compared to the Austin and Morris and Bedford trucks that were common in our area at that time I think it was air over hydraulics the vacuum system used by the Bedford was the worse of the lot at times the brake pedal gets very hard to press that's a sign of no brakes within the next 5 seconds
