When you mentioned two floors that are slightly different I winced and glanced toward my kitchen. We had to replace a patch of floor and we were told that the wood would darken to match our current floor but it has been like, ten years? And yep that patch is so much lighter and doesnt match at all...

I was looking at houses once and walked into one that looked JUST LIKE THIS. The only difference was that one was also infuriatingly small. Like, gotta climb over the yellow and orange furniture to get around small.

When I moved to my first apartment the landlady had had it empty for so long it had become the "odd ends" apartment. The dinning table had 6 different chairs, kitchen cabinets didn't match and there were random kitchen cabinets in the living room.

I started playing this game also and I have a tip for you! You don't always have to go to the Ring-bar-selection thingy to pick up your mop or hammer or whatever, you can use your number keys! At least I can on my laptop, worth a try! Number 1 is just hands, 2 is mop, 3 is paint and so on :)
I live in Florida. Tile floors are far more frequent in the south or in hotter climates. Carpet tends to hold in heat making the house hotter at peak summer temps. We just wear socks when it’s like 60 out.
With that being said! I personally hate tilled bedrooms in my home bedroom. I don’t mind tile bedrooms when we’re down in the keys or some thing and the tile floors just feel good all the time.

I've seen that living room/kitchen area in my nightmare once a couple years ago, and wow it still disturbs me seeing it again....
if that cursed house was real and my friend owned it and wanted to give me a house tour, I would do everything in my power to NOT have to even go near the house, or try to speed up the tour by walking in, glancing at each room and walk out of the house XD, when I read the title I was scared because I know how serious you guys can take things. great stream!! love your content!!
We looked at a house in town that reminds me of this. It had postage-stamp-sized rooms, like too small to fit our queen-sized bed in any of the three bedrooms. One bedroom on the top floor, the living room with outdoor fake wood panelling on the walls, and the two-tiny-room kitchen. The refrigerator and the stove were in separate rooms! It had a giant walk-in closet in the kitchen that was more like an attic/crawlspace because it started at hip height. The bathroom had the sink and toilet across from each other in such a way that one could wash their hands and poop at the same time, with their right foot in the bathtub! There was landing at the half-level with the backdoor. The stairs down to the lower floor were so low I was hitting my head at 5’6”! The lower level was two tiny bedrooms and the laundry room. Weirdest thing about it was the carpeted lower floor hallway with the water heater and a *floor drain in the carpet.* To this day we talk about it. 😂
I've also been playing house flipper and been wondering which job unlocked plastering. Thank god for smart people on the stream
omg imagine if they put a toilet facing the door so when you go to the bathroom your just staring straight down the hallway and a painting over the sink.

ALL of the vents in the house I am renting are slightly turned. The mirror is slightly too far to the left about the sink. The door pops open if you don't slam it behind you. I think my bedroom has the only working vents. The kitchen faucet has disturbingly high water pressure, while the shower doesn't have enough. My lighting fixture just kinda fell out of the ceiling. I only have two of the center pens you can use to adjust how open your vents are so I have to get a chair and steal a vent pen from whatever vent I changed last and then use that to change the vent I need to change.

I hated the flood house. You have to buy plaster in the wall section and plaster EVERY wall... Including outside! Dx
My old apartment was mildly infuriating. They installed the toilet too close to the wall and it's not really noticeable but the lid won't stay up. The light switches were behind the doors. The drawers were slightly crooked. There were 2 different types of cabinet in the kitchen. They replaced some old carpet but only part of it and you could see the line. The light switch for the lamps was connected to the outlet for the wifi. Just all mildly infuriating.
The light switch that turned off your wifi was meant for specifically lamps lmao its so that you didnt have to go around and turn them off one by one my house has them for two separate outlets in my living room hahah
@@animeloveer97 Yeah but it went to every outlet in the living room so there were no safe outlets I could connect my wifi to since the connection was also in the living room 😩 definitely designed before the internet was installed.
You can sell the installments and replace them closer to toilet then it would've let you add the sink closer to toilet lol

my aunt just got a new cat about a week ago and she looks like a smaller version of Joob and her name is Indigo the only difference is that Indigo only has 3 legs because she was born with a shattered leg that could not be healed so her leg had to be amputated , but she is still very playful and energetic!

Lol imagine hearing that sounds a million times when your house floods. We have flooded twice in the last 5 years in Texas. Definitely have to remove all the Sheetrock that got wet and replace it and then do 3 coats of tape and float (plaster) on all the dang seams!!

I am super excited to get this game. Something I have noticed in part one and two, you aren't very focused on function. Yes there's a bed and couch and what not but like the buyers have said, there's no bookcase or shelves or what about a room for clothes or a dresser? Even the bathroom should have a shelf for towels.

36:43 I live in a small apartment and when we were looking at it, the previous owners’ bed was placed like that and I really didn’t like it even though my mom and the real estate agent were both suggesting I should place mine like that to utilize space better. I refused, after all this is my first apartment and I want to like it. I do have to walk around the whole bigger than queen size bed to do anything and I have to walk sideways because there’s barely any space between the bed and desk and you can just barely close the door… but I prefer it anyway lol
Ngl, tiles in the bedroom could be nice in the summer😂 one apartment I lived in was in a basement, literally all the walls were made out of concrete (they were just as cold as the tiles in the bathroom), in the winter it wasn't so nice because the walls were always cold, but in the summer it was soo nice because you always had something cold to lean on, no matter where you were in the apartment 😂😂
im 6 minutes in and they've described my house so far. Light fixtures at the edges of rooms, carpet in the kitchen. Thankfully no carpeted bathroom. Literally this house is a mess.
Just about every nice house here in AZ has tile throughout. That’s considered a huge upgrade. A lot of the houses we looked at before buying the one we did, has carpet in the bathrooms, all the way up to the toilet and next to the tub and shower. Those were considered high end houses.

When I was a kid we lived in a house that had carpet in the bathroom. This was a nice house, wall of windows over looking a lake, huge staircase, 4 car garage. The owners must have thought it was fancy maybe? We were just renting it, so unfortunately we couldn't change it . So weird. Luckily the toilet never overflowed while we were there :p
