There is the Foundation Series Cybertruck, and there is the Cybertruck. I would only make the foundation series the one that is distinguished as separate.
To anyone who might have some influence with Tesla: Please suggest that Tesla provide a way to turn off the wireless charger in Cybertruck. Besides creating damaging heat, it is pretty much useless for folks who have phones that don't charge wirelessly.
The charger is always "off" until you put a device on it. That's how every wireless charger works. This is why placing a paperclip on a wireless charger doesn't start a fire.
@@PaulBlakely I am wondering why some are reporting that the charging pads are always hot if that's true... Also, I wouldn't want the charging pads to come on just because something is placed in the niche.. I don't want a wireless charger trying to charge my phone that doesn't have wireless charging capability. The option to turn off the wireless charging is still needed IMHO.
@@SS-XL5 It won't turn on when a phone is inserted that doesn't support wireless charging. Again, that's how wireless charging works. The phone communicates with the charger to start power flow.
With iPhone 15 I had to stop using inductive chargers altogether. If it’s in a case it gets too hot, whether that’s in the Cybertruck or on my home charger. I also wish I could just disable the truck’s inductive charging.
I'm not sure if this is actually a problem. Everyone says it is because "JUST LOOK AT IT!", but I don't recall seeing any concrete evidence that suggests the CT will never be allowed in places like Europe.
There are plenty of vehicles that can't be sold in some other countries for lots of reasons. There are also lots of cars that get modified to fit the area they are going to for regulatory differences.
Xlnt as always. Cybertruck is in my future, and these product reviews/demos are invaluable. SoCalFreddy

@@The_DuMont_Network ok ok
i still wonder why they made a truck they cant sell outside the us purely from the materials used beeing a safety hazard. absolutely baffling

@ilyaholt8607 it has the unprotected edge of metal plates oriented in the direction of travel that is a very specific hazard
