Thanks for the video, George. I'm about to help a friend learn the basics of GarageBand and I didn't know that you can access plugins that way, so I really appreciate your help with that. I am really only familiar with Logic, so this is going to help my friend get started!
Well done video!! Thank you for being so concise and specific about the differences and the useful tools that Logic can do versus GarageBand . You're a smart lady who seems to know a lot and it's nice to see! Sadly, I still have so much work to do!
Your information is incomplete. You can switch drums in Garageband. It's not easy but it can be done. Obviously, you are not the expert you portray yourself to be.
Thanks, Charles :-) still using GarageBand quite content at this point for my level of skill and purpose for using it. Great video!
Fantastic run through and comparison George!
Will try shortly, to start GarageBand recording. Novice and older than most.. so IDK...WISH me luck.
Thanks for posting this! I've been trying to figure out the differences but you cut right to the point and give us the facts! Cheers
Great job explaining the differences between the two products. :)

Great review, my first video of yours! Well spoken, clear, and good focus on key points! Kudos! :) ... subscribed!
One of the pros of Logic (con of GB) is that GB must downsample input tracks to 44.1kHz whereas Logic can be setup for 96kHz
You're the best... We need more from you
Excellent video. Thank you for helping me decide purchasing Logic Pro :)

Could you mix each part of the drum set differently in logic? For example, could I apply a compressor only to the snare without affecting the cymbals?
thank you very useful!
Have you used the notation feature? Any comments? Thanks.
May I ask how did you do the custom automation(like dragging it freely) on Garageband?

@@Domn879 Why do you deny basic logic? Live long and prosper.
