@@tomso8787 Manjou musou reminds me of the epic scenes from Kuroko no Basket when one of the characters get into the zone. Haha agreed! The relaxing music was such a big contrast to the high action scenes.

Something that I enjoy, is after Poseidon's death, when they show the gods right before the fight, Aphrodite is no longer glowing. Which to me seems like a way for them to show that she is at the very least, taking this just a little more seriously.
Ooh I hadn't noticed that when I watched. Cool observation and eye to detail. I would be curious to see Aphrodite fight but I heard from other commenters that she doesn't.🤔
Just speculation on my part but I think the arena being changed to London is a huge advantage for Jack. He might not have the strength to fight head on but much like with his murders he can strike and use the winding and confusing streets to quickly move out of sight. Essentially a game of cat and mouse where Jack has to pick his moments and Hercules has to try and find and catch him.
That makes sense! I think the setting will play a big part in the upcoming fight since the Brunhilde specifically asked for the location. It looks like the odds are in Heracles favor but the setting will balance the fight more?🤔
The fact the left all the sound out except that guitar playing was the perfect choice lol the silence just amped up the final moments in a way that pushed this fight to a new level lol
The Anime cut out two scenes that were in the manga and added one that wasnt btw. The scene where Brunhilde talks to Hermes wasnt in the manga and doesnt make sense so far, since it kinda implies that one of them is a Traitor to their site which both arent as far as we know. And one of the missing scenes is right before Jack and Heracles enter the Arena. In that Scene the two Valkyries meet Herakles and its revealed that they are very close to him and they call each other Brother and Sister. After that Loki confronts Heracles about his ties to the Valkyries and Heracles declares that he loves humanity and will only fight out of duty,but will do everything in his power to convince the gods to spare them after Ragnarok is over. The second missing scenes isnt that important its just Thor confronting Hilde right after the conference of the gods and telling her to better not disapoint him.
Agree with Eivin's comment below. I wished Heracles would fight on humanity's behalf instead. It would have been nice to see that deleted scene. It was odd to see the private conversation between Brunhilde and Hermes (I thought the same as you with the implication of one of them being a traitor). If that's how they are steering this, Hermes is far more likely to be one since he betrayed Adamas/the rest of the greek gods previously.
Probably they wanted to just show the characters but leave an aura of mistery to them, so that's why they cut the intro of Heracles where we are shown how he truly is. Most probably they are going to include it at the start of s2.

And it's his Home City and he would definitely play Dirty against Hercules in this fight.... Hercules is a very honorable man and he would still probably fight not dirty but Jack will...
Jack the ripper Vs Hercules is my favourite fight after the manga and this was much more a physchological war than all out brute force then the next fight after this one was really good

Small subtitles error: It's "Heracles" not "Hercules". Hercules is the roman equivalent for Heracles, so basically it's the same god but Heracles is technically the original its just that the romans came in later on in history and just copied the greek gods and slightly modified them^^
To be fair it was fun watching you reacting to record of ragnarok because I had the same reactions when every character fought and I look forward to see what you will do in the future
The reason why that one God( i forgot his name) said that brunhilde was using tricks is because Jack the ripper is a trickster. He has tricked policemen and has never been found by the police. He is a stealthy one and a hard one to deal with since he has a lot of tricks up his sleeves.

Just found your channel, I love it, I liked commented and subscribed. Record of Ragnarok is really an amazing manga. I have my reservations on the anime, but I guess it could have been worse. One of my main grievances with the manga was that after credit scene. But I will tell you the one that angered me the most: Zeus' Adamas transformation. In the manga when Adam raise his guard it says that he felt like something malevolent had just been born, and during the punch out several times Zeus is drawn in a 3d-esque style to just show how much "Out of place" that transformation made him, something that just does not translate well to the Manga's general art style on purpose. So behold them making Hermes 3d for the presentation but not the ONE THING IN THE MANGA THAT WAS 3D. But still. it could have been worse. Loved the reactions I hope to see you react to season 2.
Welcome to this cozy space! The Zeus Adamas transformation was...so ugly but I assumed that was just as Zeus is supposed to be since I didn't read the manga when I watched this😅. I was surprised by how much love was put into Hermes' scenes alone (he had a whole 3D solo moment LOL). I wish the subtitles and dub would say his Greek name, Heracles, and not his Roman name, Hercules. Since he's fighting for the Greek gods, I know he is actually fighting for humanity as he says will win his fight and convince the gods to not end the human race, his name should be his Greek name. Aside from that, which is my only problem with Netflix, this series is pretty amazing. Can't wait for the 2nd season. You should check out "Clockwork Planet" and "WorldEnd: What Do You Do At The End Of The World? Are You Busy? Will You Save Us?".
It's a shame even though the manga is really good, but if it's worked on with Netflix as usual, it's disappointing. Hopefully the fight scenes are more tense and move studios, for example Mad Hause or Ufotable. oh yeah, the music doesn't really kick as well, for example when competing the music should be like KNY or JJK
