Can't get enough of Chris Cornell and never will at this point. Enjoyed this one, hadn't heard it for a while. Will listen to Audioslave every time and did this time, thank you.
I kneeeeew you would love this. I thought maybe you would give it a 8.7/8 personally but spot on with the review. Tom's solo live was alot better and didn't have that effect at all. It started more melodic before shredding with octave pedal, when the drums and bass played the chorus feel.
I used to watch Audioslave on MTV when I came home from school.. Used to be the highlight of my week. RIP Chris. Rolling Stone has him as the 8th best lead singer of all time, but he's personally my biased #1 pick.
This reaction made me remember how much I enjoyed Audioslave. David I think you would enjoy Them Crooked Vultures and a song like ‘no one loves me and neither do I’ or ‘Elephants’
i love this song. And man i love your animation sounds LOL "alright folk let's do this" "tonnnight" "why!?" and others, tho i miss so much the pig sound effect when you rewind the track! bring it back hahahha
One of their best! You’re absolutely right, Tim and Brad are fucking amazing together in this and they hold the song together nicely. I love Chris’ vocals in this, just like you said, not over the top, it fits. He does get that high range that he’s famous for.
this was my very first album i ever bought... the whole damn album is fantastic... and somehow... SOMEHOW... Like a Stone survived the MASSIVE radio overplay... hot damn that song was on the air for MONTHS every other song... bloody fantastic album
and that ending..8 shadows on the sun followed by 2 sun screams..and as usual Chris is in control the whole time...remember this...vocals rule...they can make or break...they can get and take you there
Yes! Love your Chris reactions! Can you pretty please react to my favorite live performance of his ever ‘When I’m Down’ live at the Troubadour?🙂 will be different than any others u have reacted to by him. Deep lyrics too of course!
This is not a bad song. I remember enjoying it when the album came out. However, it is not a song I ever seek out. It's a nice filler song. Cornell is an excellent singer. To me, this is a nice, average song.
Thank you for not saying the score is 9+ ... I think it's 7.9 - 8.0 not my cup of tea but it was a good song. But not WoW! David only Muse deserve 8.5+ - 9+ 😜😜😜😜😜😜
This is one of my favorite albums ever. There's not one bad song on this entire album. Great reaction as always! 👍
Love this song so much. Can't crank it loud enough or enough times in a row. And Getaway Car. God I love that one too.
Completely agree. The only thing that changes is which track is my favourite. Unreal album
correct the album was an opus!
The only bad part of this album is the wait time between songs
Can't get enough of Chris Cornell and never will at this point. Enjoyed this one, hadn't heard it for a while. Will listen to Audioslave every time and did this time, thank you.
Man, this whole first album by Audioslave is fire 🔥🔥🔥 (pun intended). Always a good day to see anything Chris Cornell on the channel 👍
Brad and Tim are one of the TIGHTEST RYTHM SECTIONS EVER. Tim is a BEAST on the BASS guitar. 🤯
"Memory of the one who lived inside my skin"
CHRIS, TOM, BRAD, and TIM. Now that's one hell of a LINE-UP. 🤯✌️
Best song from their first album I think . Well, maybe tied with gasoline as the two best .
Man we're missing two legends in Chris Cornell And Chester Bennington. My most listened to vocalist in the rock world , Great Music
Such a dope song !!! Love audioslave
Great analysis, David. Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Totally agree.

The recordings Audioslave did of this album when previously the band was called Civilian were raw and killer.
That is my favourite song in the whole world! 😌♥️
Great song, Is Moth by Audioslave on the list ?
Unfortunately I do not see that request currently in the que.

I still use it, when it's warranted.

One of my favorites by them. It's a song where the RATM qualities really make it. The ending could easily be just RATM :D
Audioslave is 🔥 🔥 🔥!
Oh my god the video studio version blow your mind. At least it did me. Thank you I agree with your evaluation. ❤
I love that song and album so much
Good job
this was my very first album i ever bought... the whole damn album is fantastic... and somehow... SOMEHOW... Like a Stone survived the MASSIVE radio overplay... hot damn that song was on the air for MONTHS every other song... bloody fantastic album

and that ending..8 shadows on the sun followed by 2 sun screams..and as usual Chris is in control the whole time...remember this...vocals rule...they can make or break...they can get and take you there
Infectious groove on this song. It was one of my practice songs on bass in the early days. That ending...
Oh, heck yeah

Do Heavens Dead! One of my favorites
Good
"metalingus" by alter bridge
Nice! That's a good song, not my favorite from this awesome album, but I get why many would have as their favorite!
Honest opinion…. Glad that middle part was over. Morello is a bit out there on that part. Thank god for Chris and Tim.
You said nothing for good 3 or so mins I respect you this how you review!

Its not impressive....until you fall in behind and try to follow...youll fall behind.. until you try lol
Thank you for not saying the score is 9+ ... I think it's 7.9 - 8.0 not my cup of tea but it was a good song. But not WoW!
