Just got my license and got the old family hand-me-down car; an 07 versa with roughly 220k miles on the odo. Its seen some better days, so i decided to sink a little money into fixing it up since the bumper had survived a minor accident but was looking a little worse for wear. I bought some motor oil, a filter, a bumper and fasteners and soon its going to be the cromulent rock it used to be. Great video, liked and subscribed
I came here because I have a Nissan Note '06, and ended up admiring the beauty of the mechanic. :) I would say you're Japanese roots, or half-half. In any case, very beautiful woman, and also it's nice to see woman as a mechanic. You did a great job in this video. Greetings from Croatia!
Thanks so much! I almost tore my bumper off this morning on a curb and this video helped a ton with putting it back on. You are a lifesaver! Liked and subbed
Nice video, very well explained, I have the same car and the front bumper is in a bad conditions so I have to remove, this tutorial will help me a lot. Greatings from Chihuahua Mexico
Good video, easy to understand, clear speech!! Respectfully there is a far better tool available (non expensive) for removing those plastic inserts instead of using a mere flat head screw driver & you are less inclined to damage them as well!! That flat head screw driver makes the removal job so much harder (unless they are all but falling out already) Its like anything, if you have the right tools thats half the job done straight up!! I enjoyed your video & a whole lot better than some that have been done by a mere male!! So keep up the good work & well done indeed!!
Don't worry about those plastic clips, or fasteners! They can be a pain in the but, especially if they have been on there since the car was new. I would suggest replacing them with machine screws, washers, and lock it's. This will be more secure. I have the same car, and, in the process of replacing the front bumper.
I have a nissan versa 2010 an I'm missing all the clips an my bumper fell off today what are the clips called an what if I can't find the same clips that was there in any store? Can I use any clips
This was really helpful, cause I'm change my bumper and grill on my 2012 Nissan Versa, damn teenager hit and ran on me😡😡😡. But thankS to you it's going to be an easy fixs. So THANK YOU😇😇😇
does your grille line up with your headlights correctly? my cover is sagging and I can't find any where to support it. Seems like the bumper cover is lacking support
Thanks for the video. My bumper is not sitting flush at each side and must be missing some clips. I will take it off following this guide to investigate
Yes. They are called plastic fastener remover. They are shaped like a fork and usually come in metal. You can also use a plastic trim tool that is pronged. I chose to use a flathead screwdriver because that's all I had at the time.
Hi, the factory wires are taped between the bumper reinforcement and the windshield fluid reservoir. They have blue and yellow connectors. They are much easier to access with the bumper cover removed. I will be uploading a video very soon discussing both aftermarket and factory setup for fog lights. I have a 2009 Versa S as well. Cheers!
2007-2009 grille is different than 2010-2012 grille, but they are interchangeable because there is no difference in the bumper and hood shape. All the fastener points are the same.
God I wish my hands worked as fast as yours do LOL I know it was speed it up now if you could just swing by and pick her up my my bumper won't go all the way in I'd be a happy camper

Thanks for showing the little obstacles we may encounter if we don't remove the wheels off but doable. Now I know two ways to remove it.
07/13/20 (MON) - Awesome video!! Very clear and precise tutorial.

I’ve been looking everywhere to see how to replace the bumper brackets. Anyone have a clue?
Late ASF but hope you found it. But any Nissan Dealership will either have them on hand or will have to order them. They're some on Amazon or eBay
Hi, was this the front bumper for hatchback version which you installed? Thanks!
Yes, but it is the same part/shape between hatchback and sedan
where did you buy the cold air intake?
Pep Boys store on Amazon
Thanks
keep going, work hard girl.
do they make a tool for those push fasteners to makeit easier to remove

Yes they do. The same one for the door panels.
Walmart now sells a 'panel removal tool' to assist with removing the fasteners

So a 2007 bumper is inner changeable with a 2011 bumper?
I need bumper for my 2011, I found a 2007 at a junk yard, but the grill is slightly different from my bumper
Hi. I'm planning on installing fog lights on my 2009 Versa S. Will removing just the grill give me access to the fog light wiring in S models?

You said you have 07 versa but switched grill from newer model. They are interchangeable? I keep seeing on Amazon that they are not
