Thank you for supporting and promoting Chris' work. He is a vital voice who needs to be heard (and I'm sure his wife does not really begrudge the time and money he spends on our behalf).

Thank you so much for having Chris; he is someone I truly admire. I've worked in the health food industry for over 20 years and have known many people who today would be considered influencers, though back then, they were simply "experts." Many founded companies, but their words and actions didn't align. I believe the saying "your words say what is in your head, your actions what is in your heart" rings true, and knowing many directors, owners, and presidents of large health food companies really discouraged me. Today, I work in Brazil for an amazing company with one of the most amazing whole foods that isn't well-known. We've reached out to people in government who advocate for the climate and biodiversity, and to large companies who claim to source the best products for people and the planet, but almost all of them are dishonest. The government people just want votes and have never provided any assistance, while the large companies around the world only care about paying the lowest possible price so they can resell it for four times the price. Chris is one of the few lights..

Chris’ content is top notch. I’m very thankful for his purposeful work. His ideological bias is towards scientific objectivity. Take notes kids and actually read paper books.

Excellent interview. Viva Longevity is a great channel. Thank you for taking a stance and making our voice heard.
Most people (who have the resources to make dietary choices) are beholden to their diets for emotional reasons. The food defines their culture and community. We eat what we like, and we like what we're used to eating. And we love confirmation bias.
It's a tough battle. It isn't like smoking, because people have to eat something. Add to that the wealth of big industry and their influence over politics, and it's hard to imagine we will ever be able to end the subsidies that make animal ag cheap. The people want the meat, the lobbyists want the meat, and the industry wants the meat.
The true cost of animal agriculture is very high. But much of that cost is absorbed by the public through taxation, and even more of it is absorbed by the public through ill-health and climate change. The planet will be fine, just not our experience on it.
Keep telling people the truth, and giving them hope for their health, and someday...

    Well,hello Chris.
    Wow!
That was an interesting, informative and entertaining interview.
Davo here, from sunny beautiful Australia. You might remember( probably not) my backwards somersault off Moona Moona creek bridge to celebrate my 79th trip around the sun after being NO meat, fish, dairy or eggs for the last 30 years.
Your interview reminded me of a few observations I have made :
    The story teller syndrome,
" If the story teller is good enough then intelligent educated people will believe the unbelievable, no matter how unbelievable".
The only way we can consume animal products with peace in our hearts is if we are able to master a few traits:
    Selective compassion.
An ability to disconnect from reality.
An unwillingness to confront inconvenient truths.
WOW!...Pretty undesirable traits to have in about 95% of a society.
    Best wishes Chris,you are special.
    Davo 😊.

Colo-rectal cancer. The World Health Organization, based on over 800 studies, has classified processed meat (bacon, ham, deli sliced meats, canned meats, others) as a class 1 carcinogen like smoking cigarettes. Red meat, beef and pork, is classified as a class 2 carcinogen. The lifetime risk of developing colorectal cancer is about 1 in 23 for men and 1 in 25 for women.

A plant based diet fuels the awakening of spiritual energy in yoga practice. This awakening of the spiritual energy will create exponentially far greater benefits in any person if they adopt the tools of her yoga program in their life. Hopefully more people investigate the benefits of yoga and meditation, and how we can dramatically, improve and change your life.

Even children today have signs of artery disease. Fast foods and sugary drinks have long term consequences.
There is an obesity epidemic today where over 60% of the population is overweight or obese.
What is common today and "NORMAL" is not healthy. The average person today is not healthy and is taking medications.
Heart attacks were once only common in people over 65. Today people in their 40 are having heart attacks.
Add more plants and vegetables to your diet and less junk and overly processed foods
Get off the couch. Get off the iphone or ipad. Get up and go for a walk, run, bike ride , garden, work outside. Move more, sit less.

So Chompy, can ya tell me why I'm allergic to plant food?
I have to eat animal product as a result, and it is healing me, so.... Any ideas? And all the other people who have put to bed cancer and diabetes?
I realise it doesn't work for everyone. Just want answers...

Great video! Thanks. This sounds mean but I've heard some scientists say that the earth can only support 3 to 4 billion people. That means a lot of people need to be gone. Maybe we should encourage a keto-carnivore diet and reach the goal of 4 billion sooner rather than later? (I'm not ususally this facetious!)
