The double bridges are still visible in Connahs Quay we’re the Buckley line split to the docks and the old main line station. You can follow the old track bed on the footpath by badgers walk too. Be good footage for you for a different video 👍

Thanks yes that's certainly one I can look at doing. Is that by the junction on the High Street where it goes down towards Dock Road?

There’s paths up to the old tunnels

You cant do a feature on the GNR Chester to Connahs Quay line without featuring Connahs Quay. I lived there from 1964 to 1971 when it was demolished. Best years of my life! My grandparents ran the Chester Golf Club on Sealand Marsh. We caught the train outside our kitchen window to Shotton, the guards would help my mum up to the high level and then we would travel in the guards van cos mum had the pram. They would stop the train just past Hawarden Bridge station and help us off and we would literally be a few steps away from the back garden to The Golf House, otherwise known as Nains house.
