Hello! Does this mean that you have to purchase the item on the day of your flight out of BKK for you to get a VAT refund?

is there a time limitation since you purchase the product and you request the refund in the airport? I will be in thailand for 3 months and want to buy some stuff in the beginning of my stay.

Hi Jhen, I have a question, you say to get refund forms on the day of purchase. Where do you get those forms from? Thank you :)

pii poii At the store of purchase, you ask them for a VAT refund. They will fill up the yellow form and attach the receipt. You need to keep both the form and receipt when presenting at the VAT counter at the airport.

hi regarding VAT refund, is it total sa lahat ng receipts from different stores? or isang store should be 2000 baht to get refund? example, in Platinum mall we spend like more than 2000 baht but, from different stall can we still get VAT refund? thanks.. traveling to thailand on june 4.

Christine Dedel Hello there, it should be same store. But for supermarket and department store of the same mall (example Siam Paragon Mall), you can combine receips. Also, refunds are only for stores issuing receipts. Sa Platinum mall, Chatuchak, Pratunam, there is no VAT Refund. 😊
