This was a nice snapshot of the lifestyle you have chosen. Nothing exciting, no drama, just life.
Good loyal little dog! Doesn't want to leave anyone behind.
It has been a pleasure watching your families travels and exploits. Amazing to have watched Emma grow from a young girl into a lovely young woman. From passenger to an integral part of the crew. Always happy to see the 4 of you each week.
I watch you guys every week, and I get hungry every week. Teal, you are one lucky captain. You have a beautiful boat and a beautiful crew that can really cook. Have fun in San Blas, and see you next week.

that boat is a Great find for the people on the islands .
We watched them clean it up and get the outboard running in less than 2 hours.

My sister, at my insistance, watched a couple episodes and said of Teal, "He's adorkable." I wouldn't go quite that far, but Teal's OCD is very useful on a boat. Fair winds and following seas.

Brings back great memories, we had the pleasure of cruising in San blas for 8 times, you’ve found paradise. Hope you find Lisa, she is the kunas premier molla maker, enjoy your time and don’t be in a hurry to leave, it doesn’t get any better

Emma has a marvelous voice. ....I had a student, Alex, that I told to test his voice for singing, because he had resonance. ...He can sing, OK, but got directed by a voice coach to practice with a series of recordings, for inflection, and emphasis... Long story short; He's does audio books, turning $60K/year, while going to collage full time. ...wish I knew what recordings he used... ...Kids would ask him to, "Do it," and he would speak like TV commercial, and it was hysterical. ...look at the interviews the original "Hey Siri" lady, for insights... ...and good luck all, love your videos...
I definitely believe that Emma could make a lot of money with audio books and narrations of the such. I really enjoy listening to her when speaking on the history of a location they're at. Who knows, maybe she'll start small with her own TH-cam channel featuring world history.

Emma, the hole on the top of that conch shell is how the fisherman get he animal out. There are beaches here with thousands of these shells, (all with that hole) in them in the Caribbean..

It doesn't appear to me that Emma is suffering from lack of company. They regularly get together with other cruising families.

They look like amazing people . The problem I see is , all the local people you meet on your travels who sell items to make a living . It wouldn't take long to fill up your boat with beautiful items and you don't want to insult the locals etc . That rogue boat will be a good score for the locals . Looks to be in great shape , bit of a clean and tune up and BOB's your uncle .

Thats a useful dingy..even if the motors shot..the Guna would love it.. thats like giving a whole village an extra life line and line of income.

That lost dinghy is a Boston Whaler. If you cannot locate the owner, I would keep it. The fact that it drifted so far with water and did not sink is proof of its stability. I bet it wouldn't take much to spruce it up. And then you would have a spare outboard. The dinghy found you ! I think it's a sign. Just some thoughts
That was way too much boat for us. Our dinghy and outboard combined weigh half of the whaler alone. Besides, the Guna's can use it to help support their village.

These islands are a real paradise, and IMO a far better destination than the Bahamas. Sadly, with global sea rise, I fear they may be underwater in a century.
Was that a cheesy flat bread? Please keep showing those type of things.
To bad compass could not make friends with the other dogs. I am sure he would have enjoyed running on the beach. Maybe you can find another island without dogs or people for him. Because we all know he's a very protective guard dog.😀 Stay safe and have fun.

dengue fever is from the tiger mosquito and causes very painful muscle spasms and high fever
Yup, we have a Biewer Terrier related to your dog and a 5lb toy poodle, these 2 clowns are always on guard and have no sense when it comes to thinking they can take on a 150lb dog. My little one took on a family of raccoons one night and got a severe beating,but don’t think she learned anything and would probably do it again.
Lol, I swear he resets everytime after "trying" to protect us from anyone who comes near. He is the sweetest to us......it's everyone else that has to be on alert when he's nearby. 😆😆😆
The Gunas are also Matrelinial land owners so the islands and fishing and settlement rights are passed down through the women. Same as the designs and cloth work.
Don't be alarmed if you see one of those flags with the N@zi symbol on it. Just like in Bali in Indonesia you will see the symbol all over older structures. That symbol existed and had a totally different meaning for them long before the germans (n@zis) used it as their own.

Makes you wonder if someone got separated from their dinghy. If so, then the potential for a tragedy exists.
There wasn't a fuel tank or any fuel lines onboard.

Many of the older Cunas worked in various US military bases in Panama, Air Force, Army, Navy, etc. You can say they were the preferred labor force for the US military . So many of older Cunas learned English while working for the US military in Panama.

Lol, what should have been a few days stop ended up being much longer than we anticipated as well.
I love that people of the day celebrated the life of a government approved pirate and slave trader by naming an island after him. I’m surprised that the pc brigade haven’t tried to get it renamed yet.

Probably, but the way I see it is if the owner is never found, the Guna's can use it to help support their families. This is a very poor area, and that boat will most likely last generations on that island.
