The truth is that Nigerians should not just bother themselves talking to the operators of this APC administration, but prepare to vote them out come 2023 because nothing good can come out of their ranks. They are a bunch of never do wells.

    Jide, you do not specifically critique or condemn the person primarily responsible for our present predicament, President Buhari. You have been sympathetic to APC, the party that has been in power for two terms. The current CBN governor is not responsible for the present economic meltdown. Nigeria, under Buhari, has been producing 1.3 million barrels of oil a day, whereas we have typically pumped an average of 2 million. Buhari appointed himself oil minister; he is commander in chief, but oil theft goes on unabated. Oil is our major source of revenue. If our national security team cannot protect the most vital resource for financing your economy, it has woefully failed. This theft is not the result of Niger Delta militants. This is a syndicate that has its membership in the ruling elite. This should be the major subject in the media. The proliferation of banditry, kidnapping, insurgency, and terrorism, is being fuelled by acute economic hardship.

    • @f4kool
      @f4kool ปีที่แล้ว

      He was only being balanced and journalists are trained to do that . He mentioned the weak point of Sanusi when he "cried wolf" where there was none in the past and in terms of the $ 50 Billion Sanusi claimed as missing, later scaled down to $20 billion but still found intact by an international auditor group PwC. Eventually, only about $2 billion was found unaccounted for, which was not necessarily stolen or misappropriated.. In that respect, Sanusi obviously goofed as he had no proof for his hoots . However, with his experience as an economist and former CBN governor he is well positioned to describe and opinionate on the current state of the Nigerian economy even without much research as this is glaring to everyone based on the trending events, especially with the exchange current exchange rate and the claims from the finance minister regarding the depletion of our ECA . For me, all I can see in that is a balanced assessment of Lamido Sanusi by BKO for who and what he is, nothing ridiculous about his enviable journalistic instincts.

    This is a direct response to the minister of labor that came to channels tv the other day and running his mouth that nigeria is better now. Now this was after him and his party cried over not being able to pay the teachers and admitted revenue is now low. What a dumb dumb. Thank you Jide for clarifying and sounding the alarm again.

    When will any Nigerian realized that Nigeria is worst off with Buhari, APC brainchild by Tinubu. It’s so sad to see Tinubu, another APC entity to rule again. Heck No. If Nigeria is not rescued now, Nigeria will be worst than any worst nation in the world. I think Peter Obi should be given the chance. APC and PDP failed. Give someone else the chance. I weep for Nigeria and the world bleeds for Nigeria.

    Why does the current state of the economy surprise Nigerians? What did they expect when rhey voted for someone who doesn't even understand the basics of economics and would not even recruit good hands to help him run the economy?
    What qualification is required to run for the presidency? Mere ability to read and write. So, we will continue to have mediocres run for top offices in Nigeria. You can't give what you don't have.

    It beats me hollow when I see erudite Nigerian elites lacking in the use of foresights. Education is not only having knowledge of the present occurrence but also foretelling the outcome of its future. Man is not God to know the future and you may argue on this basis with me, that I know; moreover, man through knowledge and a combination of several intuitions applied, can project future occurrence to a large accurate extent. In 2015, a great number of erudite Nigerians both in public and private spaces, put their money on the present administration at the expense of the former. Until Nigerians look beyond boundaries of ethnicity, religion, region, etc., the nation will always fall on the wrong hands.

      While I agree with what you said may I also remind us all that the former administration was allegedly led by a man who was derisively referred to as "Dr. Dumbo". With the current dire predicament one can now say for sure that the current administration is being led by "General Dotard". Now how's that for a sweet revenge?
