Since I'm not a tactical type user, it took me a second to realize why they chose to forgo adding a charging port to this specific light and instead give you the option on the battery itself. Fenix seems to actually put thought into how their different model of lights will be used. I thought the E20 V2 was going to be like my E12 V2 but with longer runtime and higher output. Instead they changed lens focus between the two, giving the bigger light a bit more for distance. The color temperature is a bit different too, but not sure if had any rationale behind it or just a manufacturing decision.
Did I understand you correctly? Did the light run on high (1000 lumen) for 8 hours? Im interested to know how long it can run on high without stepping down. Great video.
I haven't tried different batteries in it and I doubt I ever will since I have 300+ flashlights and i'm constantly rotating and this light probably won't get enough use require me to test different battery options. I would assume any 21700 rechargeable battery with the same size and output specifications would do the trick .
@@PreparedGuyPD36R Pro or the TK11TAC if you want some throw from your pocket light. If you need an affordable thrower and uses a 21700 battery, go for the HT18. 1500 lumens and over 200k candela!

I just got my e20 v2 it’s a great light forsure and the runtime is pretty good the lens seems to work pretty well also ..
nice look guy you know I love my Fenix lights
It's a monster carry. Great customer service.
I have the TK15 & TK15 U.E. - phenomenal flashlights. Fenix is among The Best.
You should test out the tk20 v2, it’s the further throwing brother of the tk16
tk20 v2 get so hot so fast and only holds turbo for around 30 to 40 seconds. tk16 v2 still the way to go.

For funsies, could you / do you have a video of strobe run times? Just bought this cuz I lost my PD36TAC on Duty
Sold. I'll get another one for my wife.

No, it ran for 2 minutes at 1,000 lumens whilst gradually ramping down to lower lumens.
Thanks for your response. Great video
I give this flashlight a 7.5 overall, I didn't like the nylon case, the charging setup and overall beam and throw distance. The new one maybe better.
Вітаю,який зних потужніший і дальший по кидку Fenix tk16 V2. чи Sofirn C8L.дуже цікаво хто переможець зних...Вагаюсь з вибором....

Hi do i chose this over Fenix PD35 V3.0? I need a thrower
It's a solid thrower. I haven't personally compared it to the PD35 V3.0. it does throw very well.
