Patti you are the best. I took a class with you as teacher years ago in Houston m, International Quilt Festival and we had so much fun. Laughing with other students who had taken classes prior to our class. What a fun day. Learned so much. You are a very sweet lady and a fantastic teacher. The doll display at the Houston show was gorgeous.
I love your dolls! They are absolutely beautiful! I went to a Doll exhibit at a gallery many years ago land I was fascinated by the incredible imaginative dolls that the artists created. I've always wanted to try making one. I'll be back!
yes, my favourite doll maker...love Patti's work, I have 3 books of hers and they're so inspiring! The gallery is so beautiful too :-) glad I found this!
Love Patti's work! I personally have a doll on the DVD set..my "Luna Cobalta"...I made her for a special challenge and then Patti included the doll to demonstrate the special touch I did for the doll's lips. This was indeed an honor. Thank you Patti for showing that cloth dolls can be art...and not just an expensive hobby.
Thank you I have all your books you are incredible. I love all your dolls I have made two for my grandbaby and want to make more....I love all your work...thanks
thank you for the wonderfully informative videos. I am going to buy your dvd. I made a steampunk doll with very small hands that I had a horrendous time turning! you have given me some thoughts that will help! thank god for people like you! also there is a kit available for turning small fingers by you! brag it up!
I love your dolls Patti. I went to a gallery in Laguna Beach California in 1960. There were dolls hanging everywhere on little swings and floating through the air, and I realized that I wanted to be a doll maker. Well, life became very full with many children and life changes and through the years I had made many dolls for my little ones. But, it wasn't until two years ago I attempted to make art dolls. I had some successes that surprised me, but I do have one question. In the supply section the name of a certain type of fine pens to do the fine outlining that doesn't run are bleed. I have ordered so many pens and none of them work properly, and I would like to know if you could give an actual brand that you use on your dolls. Just seems to be the case with all the doll makers I have books on,. But, I would like something specific if you could help out. Thank you. 😊
these are amazing. I'd like to know more about the supplies though. What wax based pencils do you use? What fabric did you use? when you say 'I use my brown pen," what type of pen is it? As much as I think these are wonderful, I need to know how to make the actual doll. I need to know what you used for hair etc.
hi Marie, these are trailers for the DVD and online workshop available very reasonably with all the full details of products, materials and methods included...3+ hours of step by step tutorials ;-) gallicreative.com/item/cloth-doll-inspirations

I'm very impressed with how steady your hands are when you draw lines and eyelashes on your doll. Your dolls are beautiful.
