I have watched his entire EVO run and I'm still waiting to see Leffen do anything impressive other than convert stray hits to 45% combos in a way no other character can.

If it was that easy everyone would have done it, and sure, maybe he found some secret tech/strats for Happy Chaos, but is he really doing anything we didn't already know about? I don't actually know because I don't even play this game.
What I do know is that you can't land solid, convertible confirms without good reactions, defense, decision-making, etc. and you still need to execute consistently. Do you think his tournament record across all games up to this point is luck, or some kind of exploitation? The win itself is an extremely impressive feat, especially considering how he stretches himself across multiple games.

@@mio96.What do you mean impressive record? Leffen hasn't been great in anything but melee. He got clowned on in FighterZ, was garbage when he tier whored Zato, got clowned in smash ultimate and the list goes on. Don't get me wrong, hes not a bad player but to win Evo, you have to be more than just good, which he isn't. He bridged the gap with HC because hes a disgustingly broken character.
The previous years evo winner, picked up fighting games a few months before going to Evo, then won. Can you guess which character they used? I'll let you figure it out.
Also, confirming stray hits as HC is none of what you listed. I picked up HC myself for two months and jumped to heaven floor with a WR of 66% over 712 games lmao. And I am trash at GGST.
