I remember when I got this, I was driving past crab rock and at first I thought I was near a military base .r something but instead I heard Jonron's voice and I thought my game glitched until I realized it was a recording and Dani just missed her. It broke my heart.
Ok so I don’t mean to brag nothing like that but when i was playing game when it first came i played it all the way here so they said lets go party so i thought they were at the Island so i went there and found out that voice recording so im wondering if i was the first one to find it so i look it up on youtube and no videos were found i was in shock but i did not know that there was another where u meet her
I went back to this island for the first time in months after beating the game. I got to the island as the sun was setting and then I got this dialogue and the damn music started playing like bro I didn't need to feel sad tonight 😂
Honestly after this mission and hearing this, it broke me to where I couldn't even touch the game all along I was having a blast even more so doing missions with Jonron and then when we lost her I just couldn't even finish the game, might finish it at some point though
Judging from what Dani says after Jonron's death, it makes me think one of two things. 1. Dani had a strong friendship with Jonron or 2. They had a more feelings/romance side toward her.
i really wish farcry had more options. if i had the choice to save her or yelena, i would have saved her. dont even have to make it like a drastic change in gameplay, could do just what wolfenstein did where you pick fergus or wyatt. only a few different cutscenes.
came here now after the mission, so sad. all these crappy characters and they kill off the good ones you want to live, with no way to save them. this has become 1 of my favourite easter eggs
There's also a secret dialogue where Dani tries to contact Clara Garcia when you go visit the helicopter crash site in El Este. But there's several secret dialogues in this game I think.
They killed the two best side characters in the game and kept all the bland one's alive. Both El Trigre and Jonron were amazing, I guess the story wanted you to care about them to have an emotional impact on their death. As the story progressed, for some reason I thought Juan would be a traitor and I was ready to kill him if I had to but anyways it differently
Is there any way to save jonron?? maybe i'm too emotional, but this was the reason i stopped playing the game. that was a BS decition by ubisoft, and even offscreen
@@physiatra3938 i would've hope so. But in the main story they didn't have the luxury of a time to even mourne for jonron and el tigre. I think Yelena said something like they'll mourne them after they kill benitez first.
@@FounderX9 I'm gonna be honest here. I chose male Dani partly because I identify more with a male character, but mostly just so I could run around singing, "Nananananana Dani Rojas! Rojas! Dani Rojaaas! Rojas! Rojas! Rojas! Rojas! Dani Rojaaaaaas!" (Ted Lasso). It was just too much of an opportunity to pass on.

I was doing the slide achievement and as I got it she made this call, well after I beat the game. And I thought it was because I did the 200m slide.
Lol Dani be like "Jonrón! Guess what I just di- ...oh. right. You're dead."

Female dani version was full of emotion no Ron’s grace is on that island there’s a nice poem as well
