I met Dallas last year at a City and Colour show. My phone started to ring and this song was the ring tone. He just laughed and said "hey, that's a good song!" and all I could do was smile and say "it's the best!" I miss them so much :(
Dallas Green's voice is what made me listen to AOF, and still is why I listen to the old school AOF. City And Colour is also one of my favourite bands now. Not saying he's the band. The band is great, their special rhythms and genious build ups are really catchy. But Dallas Green's voice is what caught my attention..
No other band has this kind of combination, Georges great screaming, and Dallas' AMAZING voice. Seen Dallas live with Alexisonfire and Solo he is unreal!
Einfach die geilste Band die ich je gehört habe, jeder Song ist von vorne bis hinten ins kleinste Detail durchdacht! Ich hoffe ich kann sie dieses Jahr Live in Lingen sehn!
I was watching a Rebelution video and one of them was wearing a shirt that said Alexisonfire. I figured it was a band name so I looked it up, and I'm glad I did. Went from watching a reggae video to this...music is amazing!
Some of Dallas' best vocals right here. i first saw their this could be anywhere in the world while sleepin on the couch. woke up at the begginning and saw the whole thing till the end. ROCK
Falling in love with this band. Seriously, I have the pickiest music taste in the world. If I listened to 20 bands, I'd be lucky to find one I think is OK. So the fact that I love this band really shows, they rock.
Their music just picks you up from one place and by the end of it you find yourself in another ready to listen to a new song and be swept off all over again. There's something really special this band had and I hate myself for not getting into them sooner. Last summer I began to get heavily into them, then the announcement on the radio came in mid august.
i remember way back in the day when this first premiered on much, i was in grade 10 and decided to skip school to watch the premiere of this video. Leigh Miller said the day before that much would have the premiere of aofs new video so skipped school the next day watched the video was blown away graduated went to college and still getting blown away from alexisonfire !!!!!
first song I ever listened to with screaming in it. and now I work in the hardcore scene. RIP AoF. They paved the way for so much to happen in canadian hardcore, and canadian music in general
Absolutely love alexis, Saw them and went backstage in Cardiff in Novemeber. Great blokes and Dallas hits EVERY note live. Incredible. Also check out City and Colour. Dallas' side project.
This entire band is helping me through a tough situation in my life. Music makes me forget that things like family, friends, school, work, and women exist, if only for that little bit of time I need them to not.
i wasnt a fan of this screamo music until i seen alexis on fire live at wakefest in kelowna ,bc. every since then i cant get enough. alexis on fire is untouchable. theyre so sick. love em
I agree-gree!! Underoath brought me into screaming, then i found AOF, and Im hooked for life. But Dallas' voice kicks Aaron's out of the water. BOTH ROCK!!!!
Personally, I think that George's scream at 2:15 and at the very end of the song are legendary. Just the most bittersweet thing I've ever heard. Simply beautiful.
OMG I remember hearing this and liking it when I was 12, my mom was like "the fuck you listening to?" (I grew up in a mainly rap music home haha) memories..
Ive just started listening to alexisonfire and there pretty sick, theyve definatly got one of the better drummers of today and this song definatly shows it
dallas! his voice makes me piss my pants. and the entire band is just amazing! the drumming, the guitars, the screaming...and they have serious attitude. ROCK ON!
Man I'm going to miss Dallas' perfect voice and George's scream together, the most amazing melodies I've ever heard, and without doubt my favourite band ever. Miss you guys working as one, this shit still gives me goosebumps
@DeathinHand i love dallas' voice...but i'd have to say what made the band for me was how dallas', george's, and wade's voices all played with each other--dallas being the soft that builds to the rasp and wade's harder punk style transitions it to george's hardcore scream...it was so fluid. i remember stumbling upon Pulmonary Archery one late night on Much Loud and was immediately blown away. almost 10 years later the song and the band still give me goosebumps.
I own both albumns, but they have some other stuff i ran across...seek "Charlie Sheen Vs. Henery Rollins' & Tonight I am Going To Wash The Hippy." Silly i know, but you'll be glad you did. !ROCK ON!
It's more of a kept promise in a farewell tour. Sad times, but they were great while they lasted. I have tickets to the second Toronto show but live in British Columbia and am debating going or not. Expensive plane tickets and such.
Couldn't agree more. I love Dallas when he has a grungy, throaty feeling to his singing.
I met Dallas last year at a City and Colour show. My phone started to ring and this song was the ring tone. He just laughed and said "hey, that's a good song!" and all I could do was smile and say "it's the best!" I miss them so much :(
wow! that's so cool!
LoverOfTruth2010 I thought so too! Probably one of the best moments of my life haha
yeah haha ...but you know there's always tomorrow haha :)
Actually, I'm seeing him again a week from tomorrow! And I still have the same ring tone :)
+Samantha Trejo That's actually really fucking cool. Wish they would get back together : (. The feels I get from this band...

Miss these days when Much Music was actually a Music channel, Rick Campanelli. Good times 👍
I love the way Dallas sings "tomorow"!!!! He hits about eight different notes. I get chills every time i hear it!
Dallas Green's voice in this song is SIMPLY AMAZING. As is in every song, i just love it in this one especially.
this is one of those songs that stick with u for life
No other band has this kind of combination, Georges great screaming, and Dallas' AMAZING voice. Seen Dallas live with Alexisonfire and Solo he is unreal!
This was the first Alexisonfire song I ever heard, and I never looked back. I love them!
Einfach die geilste Band die ich je gehört habe, jeder Song ist von vorne bis hinten ins kleinste Detail durchdacht! Ich hoffe ich kann sie dieses Jahr Live in Lingen sehn!

Still the only band ever. So happy to see you back. Nobody makes me want to just rage as hard as possible.
Saw them at the bluesfest yesterday. Glad I finally Saw them. The videos don't prepare you for the Energy that they unleash!
Falling in love with this band. Seriously, I have the pickiest music taste in the world.

My friends, congratulations. Your taste in music has earned my respect.
You are now among the 14 people that have that in the world. :P
first song I ever listened to with screaming in it. and now I work in the hardcore scene. RIP AoF. They paved the way for so much to happen in canadian hardcore, and canadian music in general
omfg, awesome! I love the secondary singer, his voice is awesome, reminds me of the voice of the lead singer of snow patrol, which is awesome as well.

Absolutely love alexis, Saw them and went backstage in Cardiff in Novemeber. Great blokes and Dallas hits EVERY note live. Incredible. Also check out City and Colour. Dallas' side project.

I agree-gree!! Underoath brought me into screaming, then i found AOF, and Im hooked for life. But Dallas' voice kicks Aaron's out of the water.

best band to ever come out of canada alexis on fire kicks ass!
saw them on monday. the only band i would travel to London to see. as they said at the gig "this isn't a funeral"
actually the screaming + the nice/kinda cute voice is what i like the best
Fantabulous song, and phenomenal band.
LOL, I love the jump kick at 3:04. This is an excellent song from an amazing band.
Personally, I think that George's scream at 2:15 and at the very end of the song are legendary. Just the most bittersweet thing I've ever heard. Simply beautiful.
such epicness should not go unoticed. So much raw energy cannot leave you indifferent.
when i first heard them i thought they were crap. But now they have really grown on me! Love this song!
WTF are you talking about? Their "epileptic fits" as you call them add to the greatness that is Alexisonfire.
Bass makes the song, bu the whole band is still awesome. Made me get into this genre
ALEXISONFIRE ROCKS!!!
I used to listen to a friend by them so much in and outta school after that song I loved the band.

This song is pure brilliance
NEVER STOP THE MUSIC! AOF FOREVER
George, best screamer of all time in this genre of music
The way Dallas says "You know there's always tomorrow" at 1:37 is just so fucking raw and emotional.
This song saved me so many times. R.I.P Alexisonfire
this song brings back memories from the old days haha
haha i like how dallas squishes his nose up against the microphone, it's so cute!
