She just needs to stop with the habit of name dropping, she could have just said the worst experience she had without naming Jason Momoa (that is if she wants to work in the hollywood industry)
Insane backllash in my eyes. Like, she got in trouble for giving an honest answer to a question?
Imagine if a public figure pretty much called you a horrible person to her audience because of an interaction you witnessed with absolutely no context. We don't know why Jason was upset or what the reason for his argument with staff was but she pretty much told everyone he was a horrible person because of that. Valk should know as a public figure that image is a big deal to entertainers like Jason and herself in terms of getting brand deals and considered for projects. Pretty sure Valk has bad days too and wouldn't appreciate people publicly calling her a horrible person because of an interaction they witnessed and were not really a part of or had all the information on. The fact that she talks about this with a smile on her face while Jason deals with the backlash makes her unlikeable.
Sometime, there is something doesnt need to be say publicly. Especially, when she have all those brand deal, sponsors, films, project and more. You dont want to burn bridges so early. Unless you reach close to retirement and have nothing to lose. Plus, saying out loud like that can get you sue for defamation.
It was more because of a “baseless” accusation, as she accused him without context. Ofcourse she was very very and brutally honest which I like. The only problem is incels on the internet and “drama content farmers”. Other than that I see no issue. But yeah being honest can get you sued for defamation in Murica 💀
She shared something she seen one time to her audience its not even an experience she's a cameo so she doesn't even know what happend all together she just seen him get upset for someone not doing something wrong and said he was mistreating. None of this wouldnt of started if she didnt answer it, like its not an "insane backlash" its a "What Do You Expect" backlash. Like she honest but saying something without context or any idea of what really happend is the issue. The person could've messed a shot up 15x or kept moving the camera somewhere who knows.
Yea valkyrae should get a strict PR team and hold her mouth tightly with deals.

Rae is the type who thinks it is not a leak (becoz she leaks saying something is happening. But wont leak every part of it and justifies her answer that its not a big deal). 😂.
I love Rae. I've supported her for so long... but damn, she should really get media training. I love when she yaps, but she should really consider what she says, when she says it, and how she says it. Even with good intentions, she's self-sabotaging at this point.
And this is not to say that she's not valid. Jason Momoa should definetly be exposed for the shit he does... but saying something so flippantly in a random hot one's interview with a faze member, which everyone knows it's a collab for content and clip-farming, then she gets all pikachu face because she didn't think of the impact of her words. Come on. She's been in this industry for so long and has went through so many things to still be this unmindful.
* Like exposing Jason Momoa is okay. The dude was a dick...but exposing him before the movie is out.. not thinking that this backlash will not only affect Jason Momoa, but public perception of the movie, thus affecting everyone who has worked on it. Bringing bad faith into an acting opportunity she was given... how will people from that industry want to work with her again if she's just that streamer who doesn't have a filter?
* Another example was the Ava Kris Tyson thing on twitter. Like, yeah, she was valid in her initial posts, and the other side likes to hate anything they disagree with... but she literally argued with randoms on the thread for hours, and even the next day... like how can you not realize they are engagement farming you, and there is no sense in arguing with people who have 2 dying braincells?
* And yes, going live during the Reflct thing. Listing off friends... What an era.
We know as regular viewers that she is a good egg. But as a seasoned streamer and inluencer, she should definitely be smarter than this.

I like Rae as a content creator, but having gone through the amount of things she has and learning multiple lessons, I just simply can't defend her with this mistake. While the backlash is stupid, she knows well enough by now to not disclose so much details if she's going to leak. She's been through too much online "scandals" to not know by now to not say more than she should. Highly suggest she goes into PR training of some kind cause if she keeps this up, she might end up screwing her whole career.
At this point you would think she has matured or gotten smart enough since she is an adult to know what she can and can't say but I guess not. Most her mistakes are common sense, but common sense isn't very common nowadays.
I do find it all quite funny, like Rae is old enough that she should have known that saying anything about what happens on the set of a movie about a big name - unless it was something absolutely truly appalling - is just a bad idea, and will likely close a lot of doors for her going forwards.
Not excusing his actions if he was mistreating people, but if you ever have any kind of thoughts of doing more stuff in TV/Movies, particularly because she probably won’t stream forever, particularly as she gets older, and may want to move on to do other things, that’s a door that might be closed going forwards
the other issue is that she leaked she was gonna be in the minecraft movie before the movie even came out i cant imagine her agent and the movie team was pleased with that XD
@@dannyquang7359 yeah but I think she had already leaked it like a month before that… I’m sure she leaked it ages ago, although perhaps because it wasn’t linked to the Jason Mamoa accusation it didn’t get as much traction

i think she might be more grateful if she know the truth of how the working environment in TV industries is, she's good enough to work with someone that deserves her

1. She leaked she was in the movie (which is not officially announced yet even tho most of her fans know it yet)
2. She literally name dropped the celebrity which was like very shocking if u know how how social media works (specially the dude was like related to a one controversial case recently)
3. She did all of this while herself BEING in the movie and its NOT EVEN OUT YET (the timing of and the trailer just got released bro like she couldve waited after the movie)

Whether she should have said it or not... I just don't understand how Rae says basically anything and gets flamed for it when other people say much worse stuff all the time and get away with it. Some people just like to hate her (for no reason) and then they argue her success isn't based on hard work when they have no idea. Sorry but I just don't understand people.
I feel like id you hate someone like Rae you're the one with a problem (and no, I'm not her fan or viewer bur I do feel like she is a genuinely good person at least from what I have seen and heard).
I think she definetely knew what she was doing and what will be the repercussions, so its OK to let the experience out somethings are hard to keep in being a streamer.

I appreciate the total honesty. We need more of that nowadays, to expose all these misogynists and abusers hiding behind fame and machismo. She doesn't deserve any backlash, only true losers criticize someone for telling the truth. I hope Rae will take care of herself still, though. But appeasing misogynists is sometimes a losing game because they will just find something new to criticize or bring up old shit for the purpose of harassing her.
Maybe coz Streamers cracking into the mainstream is still new, but Rae (among others) should have the experience to know that drama farming peers is not gonna end well. She knew, for instance, to maintain a relatively soft stance on the Ava Tyson situation (despite the accusations being in the same, maybe even worse, zone as Dr Disrespect that she was far more comfortable with strongly condemning).
There are top tiers in the YT space going in on Mr Beast right now, and I doubt Rae would join in on that even without this recent heat on her.
She knows how to mind her Ps an Qs in her own space - it makes sparking drama with a Hollywood A-lister (on some random collab in all) look like quite the brain explosion ngl

Rae is a 'little too famous for her own good" a good majority of them Hollywood a-list type people a ego and a superiority complex about themselves. And as I have said previously that collaborating with Hollywood a-list celebrities and is a totally different environment than just collaborating with say Sykkuno, Miyoung, Blau, Ellum, Toast, Ludwig, and other streamers and content creators that are in the same space as her. The best thing for her to do is to stay in her own wheelhouse and own lane. And there's nothing wrong with being just a b-list celebrity online personality and influencer and that's something that she's going to have to accept about herself
I will say this because it's been proven just about every single movie or TV show that has an online personality or influencer attached to it they often failed just like Lilly Singh late night show on NBC that failed and also the Addison Rae movie that was done a while back that totally tanked and they have all failed and have been cursed and this is no different than any of those
To be fair... What I've seen from Rae's acting in an advertisement was much better than Addison Rae's acting. So I feel like talent is important too. (Well, I'm not really sure how well the Minecraft movie will do though so maybe the kind of movie plays a role as well).
