Small point of constructive criticism. I think the pace camera swapping is a bit high. Lily will be sharing an opinion or telling a story, and whenever Poki agrees or offers a small affirmation like "That's so true!", the camera swaps to her. Blended with their high paced conversational style, the podcast ends up feeling like a wild tennis match that's rushing. I always think following how a head might view the conversation is a good rule of thumb, staying on Lily until Poki adds something substantial to the story, or the flow of conversation moves to her side. I also think the wide angle is underused.
The sweet and sour logo as a neon sign in that style in the background with the sweet in orange and the sour in purple would be such a nice touch! LOVED this podcast btw keep it up :D

I am writing to seek advice on an issue that has been impacting my personal development and self-awareness. Over the past 18 years of my life (almost 19, as I will be turning 19 on September 21st), I have come to realize that I have been constantly altering who I am and what I like to align with those around me. For instance, with my best friend, who enjoys a lot of spicy food, I have been pretending to enjoy it as well despite my low tolerance for spicy flavors. My motivation behind this pretense stems from a fear that if I do not share her interests, she might stop talking to me or speak negatively about me behind my back. Many people have identified this behavior as "The chameleon effect," which describes how individuals unconsciously adapt their preferences and behaviors to fit those of their social circle. This tendency has led me to a point where I am uncertain about my own interests and identity, as I have been so focused on mirroring others’ likes and dislikes. Although I am aware that therapy could offer significant help, my status as a college student makes it challenging to commit to therapy sessions due to financial and time constraints. Therefore, I am seeking alternative methods or advice on how to discover and solidify my own interests and overcome my insecurity. Could you provide some guidance or suggest strategies to help me in this journey of self-discovery and personal growth?
Some stuff that helped me is going on solo dates. Like, quite literally going out to eat alone or to a park alone or something. And while doing so, internally talk to myself as if I'm talking to a friend. It really helped me figure out my own voice. I also tend to try to see myself from an outside perspective. Like, the way I act or talk or anything, I try to see it from a different perspective snd ask myself if I like that version of me The biggest thing that helped was not caring what others think of me. Letting my internal thoughts come out so that I can learn which filters I needed to set. I now stim audibly and sing songs I like and just do things I know make me, me. Life is a constant learning who you are. Don't give up. I'm almost 30 and still am figuring out life. ❤

Excited for the new podcast, but: As a German listener, I have to defend our food. I won't claim it's the greatest, exactly, but there are 16 German states and even within them there are some substantial differences in local food culture, so there is a decent amount of variety. There ARE some awesome dishes here - I live in the southwestern state of Rhineland Palatinate, and my favorite german-y food is the originally alsatian Flammkuchen (which is kind of a french-german dish, very popular on both sides of the border in the region), which is kind of like a very thin and crispy flatbread with crème fraîche, onion and lardons/bacon; In the neighbouring state of Baden-Württemberg, you can find a dumpling-like dish called "Maultaschen" which is also one of my absolute favourites. Some of our baked goods, especially certain kinds of bread, I will happily put up against any others in the world (same is true some of our pork products). Yes, compared to well-spiced international cuisines like indian or mexican dishes (which I love to cook and propably cook more often than local German stuff) a lot of our food doesn't seem very exciting, but there are some hidden and even some not-so-hidden gems here!
Life story/advice: I graduated college in 2015. After graduating, I did some work like Uber driving for a little bit. I got hired at a few companies, but quit really fast into employment because I just didn't feel like working full-time every day of my life. Few years down the line, I pursue content creation, music production, and live streaming. All of these things don't mount to much as I fail to become significantly financially stable from these endeavors. As the years go by, I find myself 32 years old still at my mom's house with no actual impressive work resume/work history. This year, I made it a point to actually get employed again, but the job market is tough. No employer is wanting to hire me, and at best I do an interview which they don't follow up with a position or hiring. How do I turn my life around??? Do I just stick with applying and hoping to get hired? Is my life's quality contingent on me just working full-time at a job, which will make me hate life? Help!!!!

There ARE some awesome dishes here - I live in the southwestern state of Rhineland Palatinate, and my favorite german-y food is the originally alsatian Flammkuchen (which is kind of a french-german dish, very popular on both sides of the border in the region), which is kind of like a very thin and crispy flatbread with crème fraîche, onion and lardons/bacon; In the neighbouring state of Baden-Württemberg, you can find a dumpling-like dish called "Maultaschen" which is also one of my absolute favourites. Some of our baked goods, especially certain kinds of bread, I will happily put up against any others in the world (same is true some of our pork products). Yes, compared to well-spiced international cuisines like indian or mexican dishes (which I love to cook and propably cook more often than local German stuff) a lot of our food doesn't seem very exciting, but there are some hidden and even some not-so-hidden gems here!
Life story/advice:
I graduated college in 2015. After graduating, I did some work like Uber driving for a little bit. I got hired at a few companies, but quit really fast into employment because I just didn't feel like working full-time every day of my life.
Few years down the line, I pursue content creation, music production, and live streaming. All of these things don't mount to much as I fail to become significantly financially stable from these endeavors.
As the years go by, I find myself 32 years old still at my mom's house with no actual impressive work resume/work history.
This year, I made it a point to actually get employed again, but the job market is tough. No employer is wanting to hire me, and at best I do an interview which they don't follow up with a position or hiring.
How do I turn my life around??? Do I just stick with applying and hoping to get hired? Is my life's quality contingent on me just working full-time at a job, which will make me hate life?
