    Even if you eliminate the Broker and go directly to Shippers the problem will still exist. Another Owner Operator or Carrier can underbid and then who do you think that shipper will choose 🤔. Alot of Drivers like to complain and not negotiate thinking people will just do the right thing. Owning a truck is more than just driving one, you can't think like a company driver when you assume the O/O seat.
    I owned a truck for 24 years, Stop hauling cheap freight! End of discussion.

      If carriers follow the ‘freaking law, the problem is better mitigated!!!
      Carriers needs to negotiate under a brokerage authority..then use their carrier Authority to run the freight…
      Shippers rarely work and negotiate with Carriers because carriers are NOT insured, license or bonded to negotiate rates with shippers..

      @phillips4284 what planet is this on? A motor carrier doesn't even need a Broker to get freight directly from a shipper. All Carriers need ia an MC & USDOT number to operate in the United States. All Carriers are required to have updated insurance coverage in order to operate. Brokers insurance only provide coverage in addition to that of Carriers should their limits be exceeded.

    The "fight" should not be Union versus Mgmt. Instead the fight is Union versus Congress to lower taxes. These so called wage increases will be eaten up with dues and higher inflation while cutting overall demand for UPS services. Market misconduct just like Market manipulation can take place on any market exchange including but not limited to ride brokers. The security Exchange Commission is tasked with the enforcement of transparent broker operations and license enforcement when it comes to the stock market. Escrow brokers positions that require a licensed from the federal government and they're required to oversee the transaction of property changing titles such as a sail or death of owner. Brokers are supposed to manage these funds between the client and recipient using a money market fund which is regulated by the security Exchange Commission however because they are unlicensed and do not follow any regulations they do not use money market funds and therefore evade a large tax sum

    Hi renon I need to learn how to calculate rates

    • @hilarynmeri
      @hilarynmeri ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Divide the price offer by the miles, let’s say for example you are been giving an offer of $3500 and the miles is 1500 miles there for you say $3500 ➗ 1500 miles =$2.33…so $2.33 is your rate per miles
