Really appreciate the film!
Unfortunaetly its only 150 mph. needs to be a lot more. about 190 is good
Are you talking about CAHSR? The standard speed on that system is 220 mph, not 150.
@@JackKack-kk5ddit should be set to 300 not 220
@@jdos5643 220 is typical top speed most HSR systems operate at
@@SSDConker2 I thought in Japan they go up to 300?
@@jdos5643 you might be mixing that up with kilometers instead of miles homie
First of all, that is not "high speed" -- second, it doesn't look safe at all. The entire route needs to be elevated, with no other traffic of any kind allowed on the rails.
You gotta be kidding me, right? If you actually wrote this, then you might start doing some research XXDD.
The train he’s riding isn’t the high speed line, it’s all the viaducts and stuff under construction in the background dumba$$.
I'll try to stay positive and assume you've made an honest mistake.
The video was filmed while riding on the San Joaquins line, which is a regular train service operated by Amtrak for the The San Joaquin Joint Powers Authority connecting Bakersfield and Stockton and from there to Sacramento and Oakland operated on BNSF and UP lines. This is not a high speed train and no one claims it is but the under construction CAHSR line does pass close to this line in some sections and the video shows the current state of the works. The CAHSR is a fully fledged 220 mph high speed line and as such is fully grade separated, as required by law for any line reaching speed above 110 mph.
Significant waste of money. To elevate that much in earthquake country was/is wrong.
People wake up. The California legislator sold you a bogus bill of goods that you'll never payoff.
Have you ever been on a highway because near Fresno just about every highway is elevated (and in some cases they have elevated highways stacked on elevated highways). The HSR alignment is mostly on the ground, and in most cases earthquake proofing was actually the reason that they chose to elevate over an embankment.
Don’t be so goofy, ruins the effect.
Modernizing the state's infrastructure and transportation is not a waste, and will make getting between the regions of the state immensely easier for ppl who make that commute regularly like me
And it's only elevated when it has to cross a freight railroad or a river, most of it is at grade
Well i see someone that prefers spending $100 billion in a highway expansion project (for it to be full again shortly after as of enduced demand).
Lol, ironically most of CAHSR is at grade with only a few crossings over rivers and highways elevated. Don't you people usually criticize CAHSR for not being elevated enough? You trolls need to make up your minds!
