Great video, thank you! I'm currently in COS school and I'm trying to develop a strategy to have clients when I graduate in 8 mos. So I can go straight to the salon suite environment. I have a friend who already invests in a salon suite environment and he's willing to work when the me when I graduate with a good deal. I know it's possible, I've already been doing my craft for years I have a bit of a following on social media I just need my license. Im just trying to figure out how to get clients while still in school....I have models I do services for. I also have side hair jobs I do on weekends... Is it realistic to try to build loyal clients at this phase still? I know your busy!, Do you mentor?

Very smart to start building a following already now. This will indeed be valuable when you start. It sounds like you are doing the right things. Doing hair jobs on the weekend etc. This should give you a flying start. The toughest part is always the first clients so anything you can do to not start from zero is great and you just need to balance your capacity with school and work. I do group work and will be letting in more people in a few weeks if you are interested. I think this could be relevant for you.
