I've invested in Constant Contact email software after reading about it in your blog. Only 7-8% of my customers are opening emails so not sure how effective this really is. Re. ratings and reviews again I've found it most effective when my expert requests a client to review since a majority will not open they email especially now when mails get automatically categorised into promotion, spam, etc. Overall, I look forward to your videos every week. There’s a lot of factors that could be causing this - how the emails are collected as well as tactics like subject lines. It’s also important that you clean the list if you have subscribers that aren’t opening your emails. The reason why emails go into promotion/ spam is if you’re sending to people who do not open. If, for example Gmail, see that 20%+ (there’s no exact number) of your subscribers open the email, they will likely not put it into a promotions tab. Of course, if you send a lot of promotions, it will likely go to promotion. I can talk quite abit about this as you can tell :) But email marketing is effective. Nothing will beat in person of course (like if your experts ask for the review) but emails can be automated and help you without having to think about it. That got quite long :) Hope it helps!
