We need Shaw so much. Not only for his ability but to give us balance. It all breaks down with Trippier at the moment.
Very true, he does make a difference and when he plays we have a better balance. Hopefully England can play better and win in normal time because we have better players man for man. The Dutch are dangerous in attack though. But our defence is strong.

Shaw is crucial, he gives the extra balance we have needed. Dutch game will be interesting but they are no better than us. Hopefully Shaw can make us play better and we can squeeze through to final. Man for man we are better.
You can not play both With Bellingham and Foden. One of them should be on the Bench. He Made a big mistake to leave Grealish out of the Squad. Because not the best individual players win but the best team will win.
@@Anthony11777Southgate changed the formation to have Bellingham and foden on the pitch. We played with wingbacks in the last game which made everyone play better. Grealish wouldn't fit into that system. He had a very poor season and didn't deserve to be in the squad. We have Gordon, eze and Bowen that can fill in at left wing if Southgate changes it back.
We need shawberto Carlos more than ever. Last euros he was arguably our best player hope he’s fit enough to start next game but Netherlands wingers are very good

Luke shaw will be the difference as a united fan I know and have seen live. His balance being a left footed lb his ability to drive and carry the ball aswell as defend and whip a good ball into the box. Luke shaw don’t underestimate his value. The last euros showed everyone that 🏴❤️

I think he's arguably England's most influential player and has been for some years. The overlap he offers is absolutely world class. There's a reason Rashford's form falls off when Shaw is out of the United team. If he wasn't so injury prone you'd be looking at the best full back this country and the Premier League has seen...

You could tell the difference on the left side when he came on, Trippier isn't actually a left back so it's understandable but surely there are other options like Davis from Ipswich or Chillwell.

Need to Palmer, every time he has the ball he looks like something will happen. Foden hasnt played well at all for some reason. Kane cant be dropped but he doesnt look 100% , Toney looked strong. Will be a tight game again. Hopefully we can win.

When a player is ready, a player is ready. If that's at a quarter final stage, so be it. He did well enough, and England won the quarter final. You can certainly call Southgate out on a number if things, but none of them are playing Shaw last game

"The last four months have been really tough" Don't just apply to England and England alone, it also applies to the team England are facing (the Nederlands) in addition to both France and Spain. It's been an underwhelming tournament as a whole, where the ONLY signs of teams, managers and players pushing beyond themselves and demonstrating a desire to WIN have come from Austria, Turkey and Romania.

Luke Shaw exposed his and the other players weak mentality. Some of them have had success ONLY under top managers, working them hard and demanding, but under Southgate they have ZERO responsibility and love it.
Today's players want all the money and fame WITHOUT any accountability. If they could choose, most would do minimum for most money and fame, with ZERO care about trophies.
It seems ONLY us fans dreaming about wins and trophies.
