This was a great video, thanks, but before I replace my rectifier board, I need to first verify that my 122-125 power transformer is OK. The original rectifier board was completely destroyed, charred by fire! The 20 pin connector was also destroyed, so I need to rewire that. I've isolated the transformer from the machine - any suggestions on how I can test it to make sure it isn't shorting?
unless their is a tar like substance ooziing from the transformer i would say its good. i've only seen one bad one in my day and it was really obvious. Good luck!
@@rushfanpinball1604 Thank you for such a fast response! The transformer physically looks OK. I can see enough of the original wires to replace J1 and J2, but J3 (20 pin) is completely destroyed. Where can I find the information I need to rewire the harness to a new 20 pin connector? Are replacement wiring harnesses available?
You can but the connectors from Great Plains Electronics. Ed sells pinball related electronic products. You will probably have to cut the strip down to size.
Thanks for taking the time to share..
your welcome!

@@rushfanpinball1604 Thanks much. I just resent the pics. I screwed up your email address but they're on the way now.
