Thank you, very informative and concise video. Having the old panel I was wondering about how the new one compares, and I think now I‘m more than fine with the one I have for what I use it for.

Thanks a lot for this video. I would love to see in your next video something about the Custom button and customization options and software. I would love if it would be possible to link the dials to other functions. Lumix to keyout and shadows and higlights to dark and highlights on HDR tools.

If you were buying today, which would you buy?

The new one, but in a perfect world I would love to take some things from the old and add to the new one, things like material and size of the color wheels.

@DukeDenverFilm thanks for responding! I decided to go with the new one. Excited to finally upgrade from my tangent ripple lol

It's half the price, but don't come with the resolve studio's license key

Nice video. I just got the original Micro Panel...
One question, when I rotate a trackball vertically (ie towards 12 o'clock), the white dot on the color wheel in Davinci moves up towards 11 o'clock, ie not straight up, but towards the left.
Similarly when I rotate the trackball straight down at 6 o'clock, the white dot on the color wheel in Davinci moves down towards 5 o'clock. It seems off by 30 degrees.
The same if I rotate the trackball left or right (towards 9 o'clock or 3 o'clock), the white dot moves between 8 o'clock and 2 o'clock respectively).
    This is with all trackballs.
Is this correct? It doesn't seem right. I assumed that the trackballs would directly correspond with the Color Wheels in Davinci on screen.

Both of them, if the IPad can run DaVinci 19 🙂
