B&H also price matched it for 395 since the blackmagic website advertised it for that price.

I have down sized my desk from Mini Panel after 7 years to a Micro Panel I really don't look back, the amount of space and portability in be able to take on my locations and travels is all what i need.

Hopefully Blackmagic will allow the User key to be mapped to the RAW tab through the upcoming firmware update and use the the master wheels to control ISO/exposure and color temperature when selected, it’s absolutely essential.

This little panel definitely gives you a great bang for your buck. I have one and it really makes my color grading workflow quicker and easier. A lot of capability in this small budget friendly panel.

    Jake, great overview!
I bought this panel for a series project where I'm doing color grading (completely not a pro...), and so far I have generally good feelings about it. It does make it very easy to adjust many parameters, and the dials/buttons are pretty much laid out like the onscreen controls. I think the best thing about it is being able to watch the clean video monitor and not have to stare at the onscreen controls while making small adjustments. That's a huge help. If you only have one monitor, the full screen button is also a big help.
Downsides, unfortunately the battery life is tragic. I basically have to use it plugged in, which isn't an issue for me, but that's going to disappoint people who want to drop an iPad in the slot and get unplugged. For the size of the case, BMD should apologize for not putting in a bigger battery.
Update the firmware too. If you have trouble with connection, try uninstalling the BMD Panel app. Otherwise, a very good value overall.

The quality of this video confirms that you really are not a colorist.
