Yes these digs are top or the line, to be sure. I have questions about the Vietnamese branch of this hotel: Questions for you two, please: 1) How do you guys come by finding all of these lovely accommodations all of the time, in your travels, to wherever, please? 2) This hotel has a branch in Paris, and boy, is IT expensive as Hell! What did you and Lloyd pay for these digs, in Vietnam? Were you able to score a deal or two?
This place is insane! As a touring musician for the last 3 decades, I’ve stayed in literally hundreds of hotels…and this takes the cake. It’s like something plucked out of my imagination. Thank you, guys-I am now planning a trip to Sapa and this hotel, when I hit Vietnam..
Just a little correction, the style of the hotel is French-Indochina, inspired by the architecture of the colonial era of Vietnam. It's not exactly French, it's a mix between Vietnamese and French.
Thanks for the great video! Did not know this place existed in Vietnam, looks like the Alps in France or Switzerland. Will definitely put it on my list the next time I visit Vietnam.
What a beaut video !! you know how to capture one's imagination with such skill. Now that my darling wife and I are in our 70's it is unlikely that we will take on the type of adventures that you guys undertake but your vlogs give me the "feeling" anyway. Thanks a million. Rob G
It was beautiful Mandy, I’m in Hà Nội last night but want going Sapa but I’m not sure I’m going to make it,it trip for and my girlfriend this is the first time we travel that farther from North Hà Nội I’ll stay here one more night than we’ll thinking about travel to Sapa, thanks for the tips all the traveling experience that you and your man give all the traveler a tips.
Been to Hanoi and Ha Long Bay few years ago and would definitely visit Sapa, because of your video. Keep traveling and sharing your experiences...look forward to your next post. 🙂
I've seen this hotel bits and pieces in several videos, but this is the most detail review of many rooms and spaces I've never seen before. I love the swimming pool the most, it's like something from an old dream where you walked into a place that didn't exist, then you woke up and it's time for school. If you guys still hunting for a place for wedding try Phu Quoc island they host a large collection of theme hotels and resorts on grand scale just like this very hotel .
Thanks Mandy &Loyd - your video is absolutely well done ! Yes … Sapa is a must visit place. Was there few years ago … and this hotel wasn’t build yet, now watching this, definitely I will go back again. Have fun and best wishes wherever you go ! Looking forward to watch your next adventure.
Vietnam is a third world slum country and will be a third world slum country for generations to come due to the slum mindset passed down from one generation to the next. The people can’t stop littering indiscriminately and behave disorderly. So no matter what they build, it’s still a third world slum. Sad.
That is by far the most beautiful hotel I've seen in a long time. That pool area is something else. I've stayed at nice ones, but nothing remotely close to that and I'm sure mine costed WAY more (even when I was traveling for cheap and stayed at some crappy chain...which likely costs more than this place).
I'm Japanese. Thanks for the Japanese subtitles. I enjoyed your video. And I learned how to make hotel-vlog. I will watch other videos from now on. Thank you!
Oh, mine... This hotel is absolutely gorgeous! Must go and stay there. Thank you for the detailed tour experience. Agreed with your recommendations. And the weather is going to be lovely for those of us living in hot, wet and filthy humid regions. In addition, I loved the morning buffet presentation. It is a all rounder sight, smell, taste and feel experience indeed! Keep all these coming, ya? Thank you!
You guys should come back to Vietnam and do a motorbike trip in northern Vietnam. Paddy Doyle is pumping out some AMAZING videos of the area. He just uploaded the Ha Giang Loop video and it is out of this world spectacular!!
We have Vietnam on our bucket list and this hotel looks “very” inviting!! I’m sure wherever you get married it will be amazing. We’ve been married 26 years and recently started vlogging. It’s so much fun!! Enjoy Vietnam and those breakfast buffets!! 😘
I am currently in this hotel and it really is as beautiful as you blog shows. The courtyard and architecture s spectacularly lit at night. cant wait to try the pool and buffet breakfast tomorrow morning
Wow wow wow. It is insane indeed. I have stayed in many “diamond” rated hotels and also in Ritz Carlton suite, but this hotel is uniquely gorgeous. I will definitely stay here if you ever visit Sa Pa.
Hi Lloyd and Mandy! To answer your question I prefer the other type of videos you usually do. Amazing city and hotel tho, it made the list haha :) Mandy you have a nice tan going on, I feel it actually lights up your face.

Thank you guys for visiting my home country and i'm glad you had great experiences there. If you want to come back, also check out Intercontinental Peninsula Da Nang, Six Sense Ninh Van Bay, Marriott Phu Quoc, Capella Hanoi etc...They are absolutely stunning as well

Thank you Mandy for this vlog. You are so good at describing the hotel and your experiences. I certainly hope that you will choose this hotel for your wedding. It would be my great honor to attend your wedding if I and my wife were invited. I am living in Ho Chi Minh city so it would only be a short flight to Sapa. Some other hotels that you may want to check out is Palace Hotel in Da Lat city and Majestic Hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.

Indeed a 5-star hotel without the 5-star price.
$80-220 for a room here including breakfast is too cheap, and I'm sure there are few 5 * hotels with similar quality and price.
