What I’m finding is Instagram is only pushing my content to my followers and not to non-followers. I’m trying to change my audience (women) but I can’t if my content isn’t reaching non followers.

The era of coming up off IG is over. Idc what no one says. They have changed something on the back end that does not allow for growth. There’s nothing we can do to fix it. I highly doubt there is anything you can do to control it

five times a week is insane. you’re not a machine, you’re a human being. you’ll definitely lead to burnout if you continue that for two to three months. all in all, there are some great tips, but please prioritise and put your mental health first instead of pushing content out like that. i know that this posting consistency is for growth, but i’m sure everyone has a life outside content creating so i believe once a week is already good enough. i feel that if you keep pushing yourself you’re going to eventually lose sight for what you were once passionate about creating for.
It feels like a lot, but you can try batching your content. She has a video on that too 🫶🏾

I burnt out on Instagram doing this 😅 I started posting every day when I had a lot of free time, but when that changed it became so overwhelming 😅
My IG problem is I struggle to gain followers. I think there are two causes: 1. I turned my personal account into a content creator account so a lot of my followers are people who know me in real life and don’t really care about my content and 2. I thought my niche was lifestyle but that’s too broad of a niche and I covered too many different topics.
I don’t think it makes sense to revive my account. Instead, I’m going to settle on a specific niche and create a new account. However, due to life, I can’t commit to starting that just yet but I will

Thank you for your insights there. Definitely highlights why I am not growing, due to my niche being one which does not suits constant reels. As in 1 reels per week creators can get away with, but more than that pushes people to unfollow. But like you mentioned here, photos and carousels definitely great for engagement. I might not be growing, but I know I have a good core group of engaged followers. Hence I am going to try and find a way to up the quality of my reels so that when I do post one every now and again it can hopefully perform the best it can.
oh the advice to read other people's comments is such a good idea! I take notes of what other people make to see what is trending, but always ignore that comment section.

Great Advice, I thought my account was dead due to on and off again activity. I changed my account to a content page and before I saw your video, I have been doing reels of old photos I have in my phone. I had a 1% increase of new followers that as let me know my account is not dead. I'm starting a YT channel as well so I will try your strategy as well for the next 3 months. Thank for confirmation.

Not sure i figured out my problem though… for someone whos account was getting 500k-millions of views on reels to now just about hitting 10k views im not sure what to do! I tried consistently posting the same kind of reels, i tried switching it up and neither really work😪 but will try those tips to see if they help!

This was a very nice way of combining what shadowbanned is😅 I really just feel like I have to start over. And it’s sucks but I rebranded last year (same niche) just rebranded for cleaner aesthetic purposes & while I got about 3-4 viral posts during it. I have dropped HEAVILY in engagement & I partly think it’s my comments toward others who comment back to me. So here I am. Stuck at about the same less than 200 followers for the past 5 years maybe😭 and I’m scared to join TT aha.

Thank you. My account was mostly about me in the gym (powerlifting). But I am a writer and philosopher and tried to get my lifter audience to like my philosophy content. Out of 900, about 2 did. From then on the max engagement I get on my posts is like 3 likes. I even did the boost thing and paid. That got me a few follows but not worth the money. At this point I think I will just split the account into two. One for lifting one for philosophy. But a lot of frustration there.

In active always uploading reels story’s but literally don’t get anywhere even though I get like one follow and one like a day I stick to the same niche too
I am a mom of two and currently work full-time. I can commit to posting 3x a week. Is that too little of a posting to see a difference? 5 to 7 times a week is not sustainable for me and will run me into burnout.
I have a page that i did take a 3 month break from due to a back injury. To tedious to post during physical therapy. I been posting for over a months now and finally feel like the ball is slowly starting to move. You can revive a dead account if you are doing the things she said in the video.

I started a new page in May for my fitness journey. I was seeing good growth as I was starting from zero followers… in July someone reported 4 of my Reels for being “inappropriate” and IG stopped pushing my content out… I disputed and IG restored the videos because they weren’t going against any guidelines but ever since then my reach has been basically nothing and IG isn’t pushing out any of my Reels to anyone but my *few* followers. I feel stuck and discouraged. What do you suggest I do in this case?

I was wondering if you've ever heard of a decline in engagement when switching to a professional account? I did this in 2018 and my engagement plummeted immediately and has never recovered. I've now got a Creator account and like many, struggling to work it all out. I will take your advice and fingers crossed. :) Thank you for helping.
Hey love, I have heard of this however Instagram have labelled this a myth! Hard to know whether this is true or not as there are several other factors which can influence your engagement, some within your control and some not! My advice is to focus on your engagement moving forward as creator/ business accounts provide several benefits which in the long term, will likely out-way a dip in engagement. It's worth noting that this advice is based on the average IG account & not personalised to your content! Hope this helps 😊

I currently created new account for that reason. But it’s still kinda sad about old one ,nothing seems to work ..
For more than 4yrs my account hasn’t grown I get followers everyday but it never moves past 1531 followers, it sometimes drops but never moves past that number, I’ve done everything and made sure I haven’t violated any rules. Any suggestions why this might be?

None of this apply to me . Granted I started posting religiously in June and it is a new account. I went from 120 views on my reels with 20 followers and now the views have gone down to 20 views sometimes 1 views. I have 27 followers now.

Hi Jade I have a question and no body seems to discuss on platforms. I used to boost my Instagram posts then I decided not to due to financial reasons. I feel this has affected my Instagram as I started losing followers and my post reach. Is this actually a reason? and how to get out of it?

Instagram engagements and algorithm is co.plete trash. Non of my videos or content gets any engagement even with my current following. They don't push your content on purpose to make you oay for ads

I don't know I am starting to think my account has been banned, I have been stuck at 8k for over 3 years. And I have seen plenty of accounts who don't have a niche but yet have a lot of followers and engagement. So on the other side I am starting to think the whole niche thing is a myth.
Honestly my TikTok has been doing a bit better but when I went to TikTok is wasn't to be a creator, I wanted to just talk about my skin.
