But great tips, I usually use my stories for humour because I feel my content is too grown and serious and I've been getting great engagement this way even if it's emojis. I just need to ask more polls and questions.

I’m in Bristol, a wonderful creative city and the nearby feature might help me find fun people to collaborate with in person. Also out of interest…are you using Threads? And if so can you tell us want you think of it? I know it’s new but it’s part of Meta so it’s good to at least be aware of what it is right. Always love your vibe :)

that stories recommendation thing will annoy the F out of me.. especially if they're the first ones in the list. cause phone screens can only show 3/4 story icons before you have to scroll, and I'm the type to just click on the first one and push through that way... seeing 3 random stories before I get to the people I actually want to see every time will make it feel like a chore.
That's indeed one of the frustrating aspects of Instagram stories. I hope the platform takes into account user feedback, including your experience, to enhance and make it more convenient for everyone.

I'm a fiber artist and even now got some very uncomfortable DMs from people who thinks that artists aren't on IG to present their creativity, but to looking for dates! I hope that it came with option to be turn off! Also this with the Stories for people who don't follow isn't helpful at all. Even now I have difficulty to find people that I watch on a daily bases, because their stories are mixed with all people I follow and I'm interact soon. Usually I keep in my DMs these people which stories I want to check daily, somehow similar to 'Your favorites' folder for the posts, but again I'll go to that folder when I have time, which means it's not very comfortable to check the Stories as I just don't have enough time for all creators there. We need a easy way to sort Stories from less people not from more!

Highlighting comment is a TikTok thing. These apps are trying to be too much like each other. I understand it’s a competition but someone has to be unique
