I had listened this song in the voice of Alamgir a Pakistani pop singer on PTV in 1977 perhapes. The tone and the words Bang Baang were in my mind. Today I amazed by the original song. Love it.
That, to my ear, is the most sublime electric guitar piece I know. He is as cool as a cucumber and she really nails that song. I prefer this one to Sinatra's version because although Nancy does a great job of the lyrics, in her version you don't get to watch the guitar player...
The absolute, at the present moment, (In my opinion.) of the 4th dimension called time this is by far my favorite version. I believe if they had played it any slower people would collapse in the street from angst.
That guitarist absolutely got the vibe, totally going with the feel. (As I guitarist I can tell that 99% of the guitarists would have screwed it) (including me maybe) 🤠
As a guitarist for 40 years I deem this comment grossly inaccurate and full of shit. This guy did a fine job, but it's just a tremolo effect on simple chords. The hardest part is getting the right rate with the tempo. Once you do that (maybe 2 minutes of dicking around) you should be good to go.
