Fire! Problem with that was you need to have thread tape ( plumbing tape) on the connection on the back wrap it around the threads clockwise same way as you tighten the nut ..where you attach the hose and tighten with wrench, not finger tight! You can get replacement hose home depot Walmart and the tape, it's white in a round plastic case.
OK I want to tell you about the hose. Do not do not try to restart that propane tank with that hose. Do not.! My friend burn her house down because of a faulty line for the propane tank. Do not use that buy a new one and make sure it is installed properly.

Glad everything turned out well. If you stay at a place who does the gate thing remember to close it in the same fashion behind you. In the city it’s a deterrent but more rural trails use it to keep animals in or out.

Fire extinguishers are so very important. I also had a fire in my skoolie, involving propane (not the same way as you). It was so scary and the clean-up from spraying the fire extinguisher was the worst. It was everwhere!

Hey Becca. You might take your hose to a hardware store and see if they have a 90° elbow that will screw on to the back of your stove and also screw into your hose. Atleast that will make your hose go to the side and not be pinched. Spray ya some soapy water on the connection after ya turn the gas on. No bubbles no leak. 😀👍
Kudos for the super quick reaction to the fire and then moving forward and improvising to make an awesome looking pizza...when my dog gets a little sick I make him chicken and rice and he loves it...GO SKYE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad you survived the fire hope you have fun cleaning LOL I think I have 5-6 Carhartt hats and two with the full face things that tuck into the hat that are orange and used during hunting season that I haven't worn in a few years since my friends have gotten too many deer so I don't even bother going hunting anymore. I have only worn three colors so far this winter.

Have you seen those fire suffocating blankets? I saw it on shark tank. My dad was a fireman and always thought that in a situation like you just went you just have that blanket right there and literally throw it on and it suffocates the fire and then you do not have to mess with the chemical that you've sprayed everywhere or it clean. Just a thought. Extra insurance. You we're great!!!!

Take the oven to an old-fashioned hardware store (Ace, True Value, etc.). Someone there will take the time to rummage through the copper fittings with you to come up with a safe way to turn 90 into the oven. So scary. I think you handled it, beautifully. I feel bad that you exiled the oven, though, haha.
You handled the fire great! Do you have one of those rechargeble vaccuums that could suck up a majority of of the powder so you aren't breathing it in? If not then maybe think about getting one in case something like that happens again. Also, 1st thing to do is to get the extinguisher recharged before your next trip. You probably know that, Im just in mom mode and sharing what I would tell my own kids. The city skyline is beautiful, but it's definitely not up there with mountain views in my opinion. Hugs to Skye!

Amazing job, never panic. I'm a US Navy Veteran, fire fighter was part of my job. I recommend a CO2 fire extinguisher. No mess and works well.

You handled the fire great! Do you have one of those rechargeble vaccuums that could suck up a majority of of the powder so you aren't breathing it in? If not then maybe think about getting one in case something like that happens again. Also, 1st thing to do is to get the extinguisher recharged before your next trip. You probably know that, Im just in mom mode and sharing what I would tell my own kids. The city skyline is beautiful, but it's definitely not up there with mountain views in my opinion. Hugs to Skye!

I still remember when you cached Big Bertha the Bass fish that was the first video I seen of yours and when I suspected to your TH-cam channel Becca what I'm thinking that happened was that the propane tank hose was not tinted down properly that's why the fire happened I'm thankful that you and Skye are ok
