Janne is a beautiful character. Glamour-style character and blonde hair is her charm. She showed off her Western charm the best, and she is a cool character that I hope to appear in other works as well as Ryoko.

Does anyone know *if* Janne here was the first user of a whip sword, or Ivy from Soul Calibur was. It seems Ivy is the most well known and popular one.
My all-time favorite character. Sadly, it is almost sure that Janne will never be seen again as she was created by ADK but I am proud to love her completely just as she used to be, there was nothing wrong with her and there was no need to change her. I will never forget you, goddess Janne...

@NotSnarl I always knew it was created by Alpha Denshi/ADK, even as a little girl I could notice that there was not any SNK logo in the games, SNK only published ADK's works and bought their properties when ADK went bankrupt, but still most people misinform saying that World Heroes was created by SNK, some because of ignorance and others because of fanaticism, wanting to give SNK more credit than it deserves and belittling ADK's work. This is very unfair, ADK deserves credit and recognition for the games they created.
@NotSnarl Don't worry, I can't help but be happy and comment every time I see that someone recognizes and appreciates ADK's work but some SNK fans tend to take my comments negatively, replying to me as if I was a hater and I was attacking that company when all I want to do is give ADK credit for the games and the good times they gave many of us and keep their work from being forgotten. So a joke wouldn't offend me, I don't have to excuse you. :)
The game where I appeared for the last time to never be seen again... I am very sad but thank you so much for making me remember better times. ♥

I think that's the first example of that type of laugh in fg's, because this series is so old. Jeanne is older than Samsho's Charlotte, who also has that laugh. Of course the most popular example of the laugh, just because it's Street Fighter, turned out to be Karin, created much later.

She didn't have that laugh at first, Janne's laugh was changed from World Heroes 2 and honestly, I preferred her original laugh. But after SNK destroyed ADK's Janne by changing her appearance, personality and even her name, the only change I liked that they made was to give her back a more normal laugh.

On the contrary, her being the character I have loved the most since I was a little girl, I absolutely hated "Jeanne" and SNKH. Her name was JANNE and she's not even a character created by SNK, I don't know what sense it makes to bring back a character with another look, another personality and even another name.
I wouldn't be affected by this kind of change in a character I didn't like too much but it breaks my heart to see everyone acting like her name was never "Janne" and hardly anyone noticing how different "Jeanne" is now. 💔

It's very unlikely sadly. The only chance for these characters from Adk, Data East, Technos, etc is reviving NGBC to become a regular series. So KOF would be meant for it's own business (KOF abandoned long ago the purpose of being a crossover series), and then NGBC on the side would serve that crossover purpose.

Maybe not in such an impressive way as this but I can also win the tournament without using my sword.
There are ways to balance them, but it's hard and tricky. And in the early 90s no company cared about balance and these kinds of game refinements. Those were the years of 70% jump in combos, infinites, loops, etc. It took some time for them to start caring about balance. But WH was already dead by that time. Too late to help it...

KOF imo should try to reapproach at least a little bit the original theme of Snk crossover, and offer in every new game at least 1 team of "misc. Snk/Neogeo history" chars (2 team would be great). In Xiv it was Muimui, LH and Nakoruru. In Xv they could bring a WH char, a Savage/Kizuna char, and Samsho again (a short reach char for balance like Hanzo, Kuroko, etc)

In World Heroes Hanzo changes to Hanzou, Dragon was from China, now from South Korea. JEanne appears only in SNK Team Frenzy
I will never appear in any game again anyway, I will only remain in the memory of the few people who knew me, remembered me and appreciated me just as I was created by ADK...
@@fabiojuniooliveira6862 Thank you so much for supporting the original names! ♥ That's because even though the characters that appear in World Heroes were based on the historical characters, they weren't supposed to be the same. Even the instruction booklet for World Heroes 2 suggests that Janne d'Arc and the actual Joan of Arc were rivals. Anyway, I'm very sad that SNK didn't want to respect ADK's work and Janne's original design just because "Janne d'Arc" doesn't give as much money or draw as much attention as "Jeanne d'Arc" due of series like Fate/stay night... but the original Janne will always be the character I have loved most since I was a little girl.

Essa é a melhor versão da franquia; só não entendo o porquê dela não ter feito sucesso aqui.
Na época, havia rumores de dois novos jogos do World Heroes, um para Neo-Geo e outro para Neo-Geo Pocket, mas a ADK precisava se esforçar demais para igualar ou pelo menos chegar perto da qualidade dos jogos da SNK que ofuscavam seus, e foi também a época em que a ADK tentou se distanciar da SNK, lançando jogos em outras plataformas. World Heroes Perfect e Ninja Master's foram os últimos grandes projetos da empresa antes de se dedicarem aos jogos menores e entrarem em falência em 2003. 💔

Ótimo vídeo, considerando como funciona o tas alem da parte dos save states, no geral quanto tempo você leva em media para cada gameplay dessas? Sempre tive essa duvida, por que se o trabalho final já da 19 minutos, nem imagino quanto tempo te custou para "montar" tudo isso, mas imagino como deve compensar já que o resultado fica muito bonito de se assistir x3.
Leva em média umas 9h de trabalho levando em consideração tempo de descanso,lanche,banho, sem falar da renderização do video,crianção da thumbnail,envio do vídeo e configuração do vídeo no TH-cam... É um trabalho bem difícil de realizar ... 4 vídeos por semana exige 4 dias inteiros de trabalho por semana 🥴🥴🥴
Só que tem aquela outra parte do trabalho né que é a parte de gostar do que faz então eu meio que invisto esse tempo todo com muito prazer em realizar um bom trabalho 😁
