Man, just wow. I used to walk through 2 feet of snow to play this game for hours at the local convenience store. I remember how hard it was to pull off that dragon uppercut! Watching this play through brought back so many memories. I was yelling at the screen, rooting for you and remembering all those “cheap” throws and bouncing back those “fireballs”. This was fun to watch. Thank you!!
@@bossjorge86 Yeah. I consider that their King of Fighters style, since it re-used sprites for other fighters, including Mars People from SvC: Chaos. We got Hanzou, Fuuma, Mudman and Neo Dio. Kinda with we got someone other than essentially 'Ken/Ryu', would like them to have not gone so goofy with Mudman (here, you can clearly see his real face behind the mask when he blocks, and the spirits are there, but not the main focus. The mask also only changes in a believable manner), and kinda not that fond of Neo Dio's redesign.
As far as Fighting games go, this game is nothing like Street Fighter, SF clones do exist but this is not one of them, despite what western videogame magazines used to say back then.

Its a refreshing change to see honest gameplay on TH-cam as there are far to many one sided tool assisted playing getting perfects all the way through.

Bouncing back the fireballs was quite difficult as I think back, you had to block at the absolute last moment to deflect it

I loved this game as a kid. Its nice to relive old memories.
This game was very playable, unlike Fatal Fury and Art Of Fighting which I found impossibly hard and unenjoyable actually if I'm honest.
Back in 1999 when I was in sixth grade this was one of my favorite arcade game but I always found it to be too hard.

I put way more hours(and quarters) into this and Samurai Showdown games than I did Street Fighter games at the time.
